The art style just... It's worse than Syncro Vox or whatever that mouth movement animation is called(Annoying Orange can be an example)
I don't think they thought about it, they just thought about the money and just drew her with no eyes open -

because she was the biggest "wtf is this s---?" intro scene for any movie back then. there was absolutely no reason for her to be in that movie.

the whole "moving cut and pasted images" 'animation' style has always been an embarrassment in my opinion, especially for me seeing as i aspire to become an animator as well.
