Why? Do you hold the cat tightly?

Maybe she heard something or you moved your hand or arms without knowing that's what gets my cat to jump from my arms thigh I usually get scratched unless it's the kitten

I wasn't even holding her at all we were just lying beside each other

Oh then maybe she got spooked by something did you cough or sneeze or maybe it's just a cat thing or proby something humans can't here ( do cats have really good hearing or is that just dogs )
