My older sister has been married to this man for eight years now.
That makes nine years since it happened.
Which means, despite what I though, it was when I was six.
I can't even remember most of what he did. All I remember is being locked in a closet with him, where, "No one could find us."
No, not my brother-in-law. I love him. His son.
I didn't know it was bad. I was little, he was twice my age plus a couple years. I was listening to the adult. I was being a good kid. I didn't know.
But, now I do. And I've blocked so much of it I can't remember half without crying.
He's in a different state, now.
And, after I told my friends, guess what I found out?
He lived with my best friend's mom for some time. And he freaking touched her.
I hate him. I hate him so much.
And after I told my family, I can't help but notice my brother-in-law treats me differently. I can't blame him. I almost pressed charges against his son.
I don't remember, though, so there's no point in it. -
