  gonna take some pills and lay the f--- down and pray it'll go
  I hate periods for this reason, I get level 4-10 cramps and usually I can't move when I have them
  and then schools are always like "lol cramps are not reasons to stay home"

  Take a warm bath. (Not hot, and not a shower.) And stay there until the medicine kicks in.

  That's why you get in it before you put the plug in, and wash yourself off. Let that water drain, and then fill it back up. Warm water does something to limit the bleeding. At least, for me.
