Thread Topic: I'm completely confused with this Xanje thing omg

*is electronically overwhelmed*
*decides to make account on site anyway*
*stray animals start showing up and then running away and there are so many profile options and so many people posting and where even do I get a pet if they keep running away and I have no money* -
Wha...?
-
You will get used to it. With every post, you earn a little bit of coins. You can go to the pet shop (there's a small menu in the top right corner) and buy a pet when you have 500 coins, I believe. Stray pets show up because there are a bunch of people who "release" their virtual pets and stuff. They keep running away because you're taking too long to name them. xD

Okay, so what's a profile thread and what am I supposed to write? And should I get friends before trying to roleplay or do I just post a plot and hope for the best?
-
A profile thread? I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to describe, but I believe that it's...your profile. Usually when you're in a roleplay, just go along like it's a soap on here.
It's easiest to get friends before roleplaying, so then you have someone to roleplay with beforehand. You should go to the Welcome Board, make a thread and introduce yourself. People will come in and say hi, then you can start a conversation.
First you want to make sure that you're in the right board before posting. When making a topic, just make something that goes along with the board name. If you want a human roleplay, then make a topic for roleplaying humans in that specific board. -
I need to bump out soaps btw -
Well, in regards to a 'profile thread', it says on my profile right now:
" Welcome!
List news here and a description of your profile if you like. Start a profile thread by clicking Create on the left sidebar, by where it says Camp Threads. The Create button only shows on your own profile, but you can participate on anybody's profile threads just like out on the forums."
Alright, I'll do that then. -
You do indeed I seem to have lost them D: -
I think I'm actually doing pretty well, considering my Newbie status there. But I jave to say that it has been a long time since I've had to feel pressured by talking to users that are older (site-account-wise) than me, it's weird and nerve-racking.

I joined last month and all so I guess I'm still a newbie, at least.
*jave? Have? No, I jave to say
