Here's a question.
If you know two points on a line, how can you find the rate of change of the variables being graphed? -
#nope
#mathmyworstsubject -
Run/rise
-
You're just looking for the slope?
-
Tenten- What?
-
I think it's rise over run.
-
It's just a question. And IDEK I DONT GET THIS STUFF
-
Are you trying to find the slope of the line?
-
Whiplash Newbieuse this equation
y=mx+b
ex:y=3x+5
the three before the x is the slope of three over one, up three over one. 5 is the point on the y axis called the y intercept. Tgat help? -
Whiplash Newbiepost a picture of the question, I will answer it.
-
Another question.
Rectanflr EFGH is graphed on a coordinate plane with vertices at E((-3,5), F(6,2), G(4,-4) and H(-5,-1).
a. Find the slopes of each side.
b. What do you notice about the slopes of opposite sides?
c. What do you notice about the slopes of adjacent sides? -

K.

I think you have to add and subtract the coordinates, then divide the answers. It's been so long since I did rise-over-run algebra.
-
Whiplash Newbieb-they are parallel and sgare the same slope
c-they have different slopes
