So I'm looking at "Bad Danganronpa OC's!" on Tumblr, and then I discover that my OC was in there. A former OC of mine, that is. California Jones.
I read through it and I felt kind of hurt, even though I have to admit that I really do hate California, and that's why I discarded her.
I was almost brought to tears. But I don't understand why. I discarded California. It's not supposed to matter, is it...? I hate her. I don't know why this hurt my feelings.

California is just a stupid character, anyways. I made her back when I just got into the fandom, so she's not supposed to make sense...so that's why she's stupid. And that's why I hate her. -
Maybe it's just the way they express their hatred towards the OC?

Yes. But it was still my character, even though I don't use her anymore. And I didn't even know this until now.

Yeah, she was primarily based off of my original Hetalia OC, California. She was supposed to be a younger version of Hetalia California, but in a different anime, and in Hetalia, I made her and Alfred siblings. Yeah, stupid. I know.

I wouldn't suggest submitting Byakuya's sister oc of yours. I have a feeling that blog would eat her alive.

It's your creation, whether you like it or not. At some level you're going to acknowledge that you're the one responsible for it, and comments towards it are, in a way, relevant to your skill.
So even if you hate that one, it's still possible to feel like your skill was just burned real bad.
