I can't find an article on it. Do you mind giving me a link to one?
-
I'll email my brother and see if he still has it. I'll send an email to my doctor too.
-
Thank you. I don't know why, but I like reading about sleep disorders.
-
Oh, I see. Maybe that can incorporate into your profession someday. I can tell you all I know about it, if you'd like.
-
Maybe, or maybe it's because I have one of my own. Either way, I just like to know stuff with sleep and dreams. Yes, please.
-
Okie.
First, I'll explain the name. Cardinal is a term for some of the electric energy in your brain running in reverse. It's the reason CHSD commonly occurs in people with Situs Inversus (like me), meaning your organs are reversed on the inside, and it also commonly starts out as insomnia. Hypersomnia is the opposite of insomnia, it means sleeping for too long. Sterben is a medical term for death. In CHSD, the electrical current in your brain that is connected to sleep and the amount of energy you have is running backwards, so the less you sleep, the more energy you have to perform tasks. This is because it costs you more energy to sleep than to perform tasks, so if you sleep for too long, your energy will drain and eventually you will not have enough to wake up, therefore dying of dehydration or starvation. -
So, your brain basically puts your body in a coma if you sleep for too long?
-
Yup. Basically.
-
*sighs* hey misty...could you get lucky to look at my thread...ugh...
-
Sure, no problem.
-
Do you still dream?
-
Yes. I often have premonitional dreams. But my dreams are about a half hour long, since I only sleep two hours.
-
Okay, because I was wondering if since you sleep shorter, if you dreamt because it takes about an hour after sleep in order to start dreaming.
-
I was just about to type up something and then I realized something
Your series
Premonitions
Which I happened to be typing about
and therefore
It is ironic
and hilarious -
What were you typing?
