Eminem has made a lot of songs that are personal and meaningful. -
Then you're basically sprouting ignorance. Some rap is like that, other rap is about the main concept of rap.
Rap was originally about the TRUE struggle of the streets and gang violence in city areas.
Most of the rappers to day rap about partying, it's just party music. Other rappers actually talk about witnessing things they saw on the street. Whether it's seeing their own cousin or relative being shot and killed, to being forced in to the gang life as well. -

It literally depends on the rapper. I listen to the deeper s--- by kendrick Lamar because it call comes from the heart. He was someone who grew up in areas like this and had experienced such things. His own father was a gang member.
