Me: It's not a hand when I look at it..

Here's what you are gonna do. Our creativity doesn't really peak until 40's or even in our 80's. I've got some advice, go on Google Images and search up hands, inlarge the picture and try to draw that hand, look at the picture, draw, look at the picture, draw. Or even use your own hand as a reference. You need to take it slow and steady, slowww and steady. Don't rush.. just slow and steady and relax.
