I loose interest too fast. And then there's the matter of me not having too many details..

No wonder the older users feel alone. The newer ones take the spotlight and are scare s---less of the older ones. .____. How ssssshhhhhhhiiiiittttyyyyy.

I lose interest a lot, as well. I usually just start writing random things until something hits me. Then i can bust out a chapter or two. It helps, trust me. And for details, start writing into a LOT of detail even the smallest things. (Not for the actual story, to get used to writing detail).

I'm working on a story as well. My problem is that I'll write something, then it'll end up being fairly short and then I'll start going, "is there enough detail?" and I just get all worked up about it.

Dark my prob is I don't feel like I can even compete with you and luna so I haven't written in 2 days. I want to finish it I have ending worked out and all but the length bothers me.
