Thread Topic: I feel like a f---en failer

I'm pretty sure I spelled failor, failer however the f--- you spell it. I went to visit my mum today. There I met my cusin... her and I NEVER got along no matter how much we tried. Well my mom was just like, "Oh, Mary Jane what a surprise you are here, I want you to meet your cusin Heather, isn't she beautiful? " in respond all I said was... "yeah?.." I rarely ever visit my mom but when I went today she wws being so annoying and saying direct and indirect statements. "Heather is beautiful" "Heather's hair is so long and even" "Heather is here while my daughter is with her father" HEATHER, HEATHER, HEATHER. It's not that I am envious of her, it's just that ever since we were kids our parent's would compare who's taller, who's shorter, who's weaker, who's stronger ect. There was a point where I we were about eight and I slapped Heather across the face for being a b---- and making fun of my shortness, and abnormal skinny self. I admit she is gorgeous, very tall, and a very pretty hair length, but I don't like when my mother makes me feel like a piece of s--- by saying stuff like "look, she is 5'5 and you are older and are 5'2," or "look at her she has the perfect measurements a woman should have, and you Mary Jane are a f---ing stick." I hate that, I hate how parents not just mine , but almost all parents create sibling rivalry unconsciously by comparing their kids to one another. They don't take in count that this can result to anger, and envy from both of the children. They no longer see each other as family but they see each other as enemies, rivals that need to make themselves and their parents proud by showing they are best. XsighX yeah, I juat needed to get this out of the way. I'm sorry if you guys think this is attention whoring, it's not I just have no one to vent this out to so I had to post all this crap on here, sorry.

I hate your mom. You're beautiful the way you are. f--- that s---.
-
Nu, she is still my mom .0.
Thank you but unfortunately that cannot change my mother's point of view. -
Run away.
-
I know how you feel, though. My mom always compares me to my older sibling, and...my stepdad says the worst things about me..
-
I DO NOT HAVE TIME IN MY 1 MINUTE BREAK FROM DUBSTEP TO READ THAT
I EXTEND MY GREATEST SYMPATHIES TO YOUR UNCLE -
At ilovepuppys I don't live with my mother anymore so I don't need to run away.
Sometimes parents consciously or unconsciously compare their children, I hate that._. -
At The geek...THANK YOU FOR THE SYMPATHY, UNCLE APPRECIATED IT.
-
Did you just say 'at'? No offense, but you know you can just go @, right?
-
But when they say something about my little sister and make her cry....I start to feel murderous.
-
@Puppy I know, I just like saying "at" instead of using the @ symbol.
Holly crap believe me I would feel like murdering someone if they messed with a younger sibling, so I understand. -
I am the younger sibling it freaking sucks, man.
-
Well then. i had a rivalry with my sister, but it was her fault, not our parents. well maybe my real dad but still. I usally was the one who got beat up I was know as her sister and not by my name. I was bullied and what did she do? absolutely nothing to help me. She was prettier and taller than me. did I let it get to me sometimes...yes, but we still have that rivalry when I dont even want it.
-
@ilovepuppys I know being the youngest sucks.
Anri, I guess you have a point and at times there is rivalry wether we want it or not. -
I think that's why my sister always clings to me.
