I don't get the fad of being a nerd but I can say that I'm pretty nerdy with all the things that I do. here I'll list some.
- Magic: The Gathering
- Halo/ COD (video games)
- I'm actually pretty smart
- (not really nerdy but not a lot of girls I know do this) Thoroughly enjoy action movies
- Read books
- I watch Star Wars, LOTR, and plenty other things -

What bothers me was that everyone used to say I was faking "nerdiness" by wearing those big nerd/hipster glasses. I picked them because they had bigger lenses so I could see more. I actually really needed them.
But I ended speculation by letting them try on the glasses. It didn't take long for them to see that they were very real. xD -

Oh and the reason I don't want to be popular is that I don't like people fawning over me and the word popular brings a bad connotation for me.

I've been popular. Never again.
Having people move out of your way when you walk down the middle of the hall, getting people to do what you want, and thinking that everyone is your friend may seem awesome, but it's not. You have to stop and think why people move out of your way and do everything thing that you say and why they want to be your friend. The answer? Fear. They're afraid of you, and I'm glad I realized that because I was a total b----. I was super rude to everyone. And once when I decided to stop being mean (took a while, but I did it), I became happier, but I also lost a lot of friends. So, yeah, I'd rather be a happy nerd with no friends than be someone who's rude and popular. -

They kind of assume that because my glasses don't have lenses. But hello I thought they were cute ^-^
So yeah I guess I'm a fake nerd but the thing is I've always been nerdy my whole life like I've been to two sleepovers and I hated it and never again did I go places with my friends I'm always in my room studying science or playing video games or something. And I've just always been into that kind of stuff.
But no I guess I'm a fake nerd because of my glasses ._.
But seriously it's like nerds are the new populars.
I worship the nerds at my school. I really want to sit at their table or join their group or whatever I just have all these friends and s--- and I'm way to shy to talk to any of them. -
Because individuality rules, and giving up yourself for a crowd sucks. Be yourself. Who cares what stereotype you fall under? x3 One of the best decisions I ever made was to stop caring about what's popular and what's not.
