"I don't understand what/why you draw"
"I don't understand your writing"
"You're going to be a doctor because doctors have very messy and unclear writing"
STOP HURTING MY GODDAMN FEELINGS OKAY -
He thinks you're going to be a doctor
You have to be smart to be a doctor
You're misinterpreting ir -
He knows I don't want to be a doctor. And he doesn't think I'm smart, trust me. He's always commenting that "I knew more than you do when I want your age."

There's a slim to none chance you can make it in that "Graphic Novel" industry. They can be pretty harsh. But, go for another game plan.

I want to be an engineer. But I haven't had a physics course in my life and I'm a junior in high school. Hell, I haven't even been taught Newton's laws. But I can do chemistry quite well.
