Why is your language so damn hard? :I
-
You better not learn chinese then. They say it's insane.
-
English's the best :'3 Even though it's my third language, I know it WAAAY better than my second.
-
I've worked on Japanese before, it's challenging, but not killer. I mean I like French, it's just a bit difficult.
I never say no to a challenge, though. I'm justing having a moment of head explosions right now. x3 -
Im switching next year to spanish.
-
Late post, really? What other languages do you speak? :3
-
Japanese is harder or french?
-
Another late post. I like Spanish. It's sensible, at least from my native English speaking perspective. x3
Japanese is much more difficult in a written way than French, but I find it easy to speak. French is one I have some trouble speaking, and the writing seems a bit complicated, but has the benefit of Latin derived words and alphabet. -
Spanih is apart of my heratage so I want to under stand what my family is saying on my dads side.
-
I've heard chinese has a letter for each WORD. Or something like that.
-
Out of the main Romance languages (Spanish, French and Italian), I'd say Spanish is the easiest, then Italian, than French. I haven't learned much Portuguese, though it's about the same as Spanish and Italian.
I don't have any Spanish heritage that I know of, but I love the culture and think it's useful. :3 Plus I have a lot of friends who speak it so it's something I could use a lot.
As for other languages, I love them all. I hope someday I could be a polyglot of some sort.
Oh, and for Chinese, yes. They're called characters, each having a certain meaning. It's daunting from a foreign perspective, but it just takes a lot of hard work and study to memorize them. I only know a few perfectly. -
I love languages too. I pretty much self-taught myself English.
Holy mother of rain. How do people learn chinese? ._. -
That's awesome~.
Lots and lots of practice. xD Simply said. It's not impossible, but something that takes dedication like any hard thing worth doing. -
Thank you. I'm planning to master another language when I get out of my current school. This school is like a killer of talents. Just maths, physics, algebria and all the other maths related craps. This sucks.
Dedication indeed. Poor national chinese speakers. It's kind of an obligated dedication for them xD -
I hate schools like that. When I lived in Tennessee we had virtually nothing in the way of electives, except for gym. It's just terrible. ;3;
Yeah. xD Though I guess when something's your native language, it seems easier than when you're trying to learn something foreign. That's one thing I've noticed with Japanese students of English. They have trouble like we do since it's so different in nature.
