Erik had finally gotten the guts to leave his apartment for the police station with his bike and sachel. Knowing the station was about 9 blocks away, it would probably take him an hour to get there. -
o ok
She scooted toward her desk, spreading the contents of the file out on her desk. There was no evidence. She didn't know how she'd solve it, then, but she knew she would somehow. She always did. -
Finally arriving at the police station wasn't even the start of his problem. Completely confused he walked around the whole place looking for Officer Jones, while no one noticed he was confused like heck.
-
Officer Jones walked down the hallway, on the way to his break. He stumbled on the confused cousin of that poor girl that was murdered last night. "Hey, glad you're here. Come with me." He smiled.
Margret got out a stack of sticky notes and began writing down theories from what was in the file. -
Seeing the man with a thick mustache(oh yeah, mustache) he followed him.
-
(He's also a little fat.)
"Detective Comwell has been assigned to lead in solving the... unfortunate case of your cousin. She will be questioning you today." Jones opened the door and walked off.
"Yes?" Margret looked up. "Oh. Uh, hi there." -
I imagine him eating a doughnut. xD
Erik watched as the fat old Officer exited the office, leaving him with the girl from last night. "Hey...", he started off with, a bit awkwardly. -
He's about to go do that.
"I'm sorry about your, um, cousin... I didn't know last night." She stood up, gesturing to the chair on the other side of the desk. "Have a seat." -
N da banos.
He chuckled, "Room mate problems, eh?" He said sitting down. -
"Dead roommates," she muttered, smiling a little. She looked him the eyes, the serious detective taking over her. "Alright, you need to answer truthfully to everything I ask, no matter how crazy the truth may be. I won't think you're crazy. I've seen some things that would make most people cry for their mothers."
-
"Ok, sure, why not?" He said, knowing obviously he would end up lying at least once.
-
"Was your cousin involved in anything that might have caused this to happen?" she asked, flipping through the papers.
-
"Well, I'm not that sure. We were kind of distant cousins, she just came by to stay with me for a week or two, since she said she was only passing through and heard I was in the area.", which was actually true.
-
And part lie.
-
"Do you know what this is?" She slid a picture of a wooden stake, tipped in metal with curling, runic designs carved deep into it. "It was found in your cousin's hand."
