She neatly organized the contents of the file and slipped it into her bag. She pulled the door of her office shut behind her, putting the "OUT" sign on her door handle. She was going to go investigate the body now, and collect better clues than what Erik had just given her.
-
He stopped by his apartment and there was only yellow tape on the door. Knocking a few times and no one answered, thinking he could just go in, he did.
-
The forensics branch was only a few blocks away. It wouldn't take very long to get there, and she retrieved her detective ID and ID card from her bag as she walked.
-
When he entered, he saw that the body was aleady gone, though, blood stains had been left where the were. "Great.", he sighed, "Now that'll never come out." He went and got a few pair of clothes for at least a week.
-
She walked in, getting it with no problem. She was lead to his cousin's body, which was on one of the tables. The woman who'd led her there left her to do the investigation work.
(What's his cousin's name?) -
(Kimberly)
He left and thought about making a call to his parents about why they aren't intervening with this situation. And why Kimberly was murdered. -
She rested the file on the floor. What's her name again? Oh, right. Kimberly. Margret checked the body's wrists on instinct, finding not even the slightest trace of a bite. No self-respecting vampire would kill a slayer with any sort of weapon other than their teeth. She checked the body's neck, finding a teeny, tiny mark left from a fang. "Someone covered up their work well."
-
When he got home, he imediately called his parents, hoping they'd have the same number from 3 years ago. It rang exactly twice, until his mom picked up. "Yes, Erik?", she said. "Mother, why aren't you guys intervening with Kimberly's death?" "Erik, dear, it's time you start learning how to cover it up. You're a jounalist, make somwthing up. You know how everything works." and she hung up. "Love you too, mom." he said, sighing.
-
She got out a small spiral notebook, taking notes. Even with healing, the remains of the wound looked like they were caused by a pair of fangs that were very sharp, and very thin. She allowed her fangs to extend to their full length, measuring and trying to figure out exactly what had happened.
-
He looked at the clock. It would only be two hours until he would have to meet Margret at the restaurant. So he jumped in the shower and started to think of a story.
-
OH GOD DON'T MAKE YOUR CHARACTERS JUMP INTO A SHOWER I PICTURE EVERYTHING I READ
Finished with her part of the forensic investigation, she left with her notes and a miniscule vial of venom that hadn't been destroyed. -
OHNO. I WASN'T. LOL I WAS GONNA JUMP TO WHERE HE'S ALREADY DRESSED.
He was already dressed within the blink of an eye. -
TOO LATE and that's amazing
She headed back to her office. When she arrived she began packing up a few things to work on the case at home.
"Leaving early?" Jones asked as she passed him in the hall.
"Yep," she answered, hurrying by. -
THOUGH I PICTURE IT, TOO. THAT'S WHY I SKIPPED IT. XD
He didn't know what to do next, he thought of many things, she died by poison, a trained assain, a broken arm, blood loss. He felt loss. -
Admit it you think your character is sexy.
She passed his hotel, and briefly considered stopping by. You don't know his room number, and you barely know him. Keep walking. Margret spent the rest of the way thinking about the dinner engagement.
