  He assigns stories and always lets me do something extra, like write a little more or include dialogue. He says I'm one of his best writers, or the best. There would never be a gym teacher who said I was incredibly good at their class, or a science teacher. All of my math teachers would call me out on the fact that I don't learn things the way they teach them. It's the subject I understand the most and excel in.
