Dear Ellen,
Hello, I'm Jillian. Pleased to be able to write to you. I have a few questions about your relationship with you and Portia.
I have lovely girlfriend named Aubri. I'm still dreaming of a perfect day where we can meet up; my lovely girl lives all the way in Washington while I'm here in California. We speak over a website and through my email. Did you and Portia have any hardships during your relationship?
I'm always teased about having a girlfriend, and some at school say it's not right because "Man and woman were created, not man and man, or woman and woman." Others say that I'm "Such a beautiful girl, and why not go for a man?" Every time I object I'm just told the same words. Does anyone ever dislike you because you're married to Portia?
What is it like, knowing you have such a lovely woman in your life? I'm super open about Aubri and myself to most people. I feel so over-excited and I just can't wait to speak to her, even if it is only through a screen. I want to take care for her. We even came up with good nick-names. I call Aubri my "Bird", and I'm her "Daisy". Do you guys have nicknames? Do you ever feel like that?
Does life go on, even with life taking time away from you guys? I have acting, fencing, school, Girl Scouts, ect. I rarely see her when I do get the time. We always talk about random things- and I try to draw for her and make her happy. We both know what we look like. But we still feel a little bit apart.
