That's not true at all. ._.

Margot sat in the window in one of the hallways, looking down at the world below. Escaping would be amazing, but it wouldn't be easy. She'd been slowly undoing the bars on the window at night. Now, she dropped the bars to the ground below, staring at the free world stretched in front of her.
-
Didn't know we were starting right at the escape. 3x
Cage wandered the hallways freely. Most everyone would be asleep right now, or at the very least, sitting in bed trying to hack into one anothers computers for extra credit. She'd spent a good portion of the last few months slowly chipping away at the security system's main database through her laptop, and tonight, her efforts had finally borne fruit. The cameras all frozen on an image of an empty hallway, she crept down the hall, on her way to the front entrance. -
Well, okay then.
Dusk had been up all night, shooting target after target. All the arrows hit dead center. Afterwards, she had practiced with two long knives, her preferred weapons if a bow was unavailable. Now sheer exhaustion forced her to stop. -
She wasn't planning on anyone coming with her tonight, though they would certainly be welcome to come along. She began climbing down the building. If only escaping was an assignment.
-
She passed a room where the muffled sounds of climbing emerged. Slipping silently in, her eyes widened as she saw the window. Rushing forward, she gazed over the edge.
-
As Cage drew closer to the front entrance, she began to hear voices mumbling to one another. She paused at a corner to listen, eyes closed in focus. There was a muffled utterance followed by a loud, gasping laugh, which was quickly stifled. Cage nodded. Two voices. Older. Masculine.
Removing her phone from her pocket, she flipped it open, and found herself blinded by the surprisingly bright glow of the screen. It took her a moment to adjust her eyes, and she blinked before continuing on to enter her twenty-digit passcode. -
She looked up toward the window, seeing a head. She frowned.
-
"What--how?" She gasped quietly.
-
Entering a few more codes she'd kept buried in the back of her mind since she'd set this program, the screen went blank save for a blinking cursor and a transparent onscreen keyboard. She entered in her coding sequence and waited patiently for the system to react. Somewhere deep in the hallways in the opposite direction from her, the alarm sounded. There was a pause as the two listened, a sort of "tsk tsk" sound from one of them, and then they were gone. Homefree, Cage made her way to the door whose alarm she'd deactivated before even leaving her room, and walked out into the dark.
-
She dropped the last few yards to the ground and took off sprinting into the night.
-
Dusk leapt after her, sliding down the rope and jumping without a sound. "Wait!" She hissed.
-
Cage blinked and glanced over at two other forms leaving the school. She couldn't identify them in this darkness, but they were certainly no one she cared to deal with. Assured she would have at least ten minutes while the guards turned off the alarm and then tried to figure out what had triggered it, she was able to continue leaving at a rather pleasant pace, a mere stroll. Nothing suspicious about simply walking.
-
She continued down the sidewalk, only stopping for a brief second when she saw someone else. She recognized the other girl from the school.
-
DAMMIT ALL. Now I wish I'd gone with how we usually do this. ox Our other person is gone. ewe
