(I'm gonna write it in first person and assume I'm a character in your jdea. I'll be at the orphanage practicing fighting. I can use third person easily, but since I don't know my characters name it's easier for me to do first.)
I ducked and slashed at my opponent, a triumphant cry emerging from my lips as I disarmed him of his sword. (I wasn't sure what weapons you wanted me to use so this is just a random pick) he raised his hands in surrender but, as I put my own sword down, leapt at me, attempting to wrestle me into submission. That's the way it was here. You turned your back for one minute and someone would betray you, do something you didn't expect. This place was dangerous. -
