  A lot of you suck at basic algebra.
  
  5 + 3x = 9
  
  Subtract 5 from both sides.
  
  3x = 4
  
  Divide by 3.
  
  x = 1.3 repentant

  You cannot add before you multiply. Basic rule of all math, but sadly, someone was doing that. Remember people; PEMDAS.
  
  Please = Parentheses
  Excuse = Exponents
  My = Multiply
  Dear = Divide
  Aunt = Add
  Sally = Subtract

  Now that I'm in Geo, I miss Algebra so much. xD Inverse tangents make me wanna go cry...
