In its entirety, Conner supposed the situation couldn't have been better. Twas' a monumental occasion that they'd been rescued from their home. He just couldn't conceal his thoughts any longer. "We need to help the other kids..."

I looked over at him again, I didn't think he was about to say that, "how?" I quietly asked

As the woman left, Conner grinned, an ecstatic emotion dwindling in his eyes. "Like, we get permission to go to schools and talk about it or something!!!"

I was nervous once again, but I forced myself to smile, "t-that sounds really good" I quietly said

Conner literally hug tackled his brother, smiling as if he'd won the lottery.

I was hugging Conner, I was glad he was happy, and that we weren't going to be abused anymore -

Conner shut his eyes and began to doze, a flood of beautiful thoughts rushing to him.
