Thread Topic: When you're gone,
-
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day and make it ok
I miss you. -
that song is depressing...
-
I know, but it's also one of my favorite songs.
-
It ain't that in their hearts they're bad
they'd stick by you if they could
But, that's just bulls---
People just ain't no good
Now this song is depressing, if you listen to the entire song 3: -
What's the song called?
-
Meg: It's called 'People Ain't No Good", by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds".
-
mine is the only exeption.
when I was younger I saw
my daddy cry and curse at the wind
he broke his own heart
and I watched as her tried to reassmble it
and my momma swore that she would
never let herself forget
and that was the day that I promised
id neer sing of love if it does not exsist -
@SG oh, I've never heard of it. The only song that really made me cry was "Temporary Home" but I forget who it's by.
@Izzy I've heard that song before. -
is by Paramore.... the whole song explains my love life....
-
It's by Carrie Underwood:
Little boy, six years old
A little too used to being alone
Another new mom and dad
Another school, another house that will never be home
When people ask him how he likes this place
He looks up and says with a smile upon his face
This is my temporary home, it's not where I belong
Windows and rooms that I'm passing through
This is just a stop on the way to where I'm going
I'm not afraid because I know
This is my temporary home
Young mom, on her own
She needs a little help, got nowhere to go
She's looking for a job, looking for a way out
'Cause a halfway house will never be a home
At night she whispers to her baby girl
"Someday we'll find our place here in this world"
This is our temporary home, it's not where we belong
Windows and rooms that we're passing through
This is just a stop on the way to where we're going
I'm not afraid because I know
This is our temporary home
Old man, hospital bed
The room is filled with people he loves
And he whispers
"Don't cry for me, I'll see you all someday"
He looks up and says
"I can see God's face"
This is my temporary home, it's not where I belong
Windows and rooms that I'm passing through
This was just a stop on the way to where I'm going
I'm not afraid because I know
This was my temporary home
This is our temporary home -
the last part of that song... reminds me of my gandfather....
-
Yeah, that's the part that gets me to cry.
-
same here.... I reminds me I wasnt there when he died...that people hid it from me and told me after school making me break down...
-
Oh, I'm sorry. When my grandpa died, I was outside playing, and when I came inside, I saw my mom crying and my dad was next to her. And he just told me to go back outside, so I did. And then later that night, he told me when my mom was about to leave to get on a plane to fly to New York.
-
my gandfather died at my moms work.....everyone around me knew except me because i was closest to him...I came to him if I had trouble or a problem...even though I barely understood him because of his spanish speaking ways I always knew what he was saying...
