Two of my friends brought up evolution and saying how its not real and stuff, so I started saying that there are facts that evolution does exist. And then they got pissed at me and one of them told me that I needed to think harder about it and I kept on telling her that I have thought about it. And then my other friend said that I hardly ever think (I was really close to yelling at her for that), but I just rolled my eyes and kept my mouth shut. And then the other friend just kept on telling me that I needed to think about it more and I kept on saying that I have. -.-

I can't believe that me and my mom actually had this conversation:
Her: How was school today?
Me: Okay.... We discussed evolution at lunch and Taylor and Courtney got mad at me because I said that evolution is proven to be a fact and stuff about the Big Bang Theory and how the dust particles formed and created he Solar System and that it's difficult for me to understand how some higher being just decided to make Earth. So, they just got mad at me.
Her: Oh we'll maybe if you explain that your not saying there isnt a higher being but it's just that there are facts supporting how the earth was made
Me: I tried that, mom. And then Courtney said "You need to think more about this" and I said "I have" then she said "well, think harder" and then Taylor said "she hardly ever thinks".
Her: Aww Jeesh. I'm sorry. What did you say after she said that?
Me: Nothing, I just rolled my eyes and kept my mouth shut. But then Courtney told me (again) that I needed to think about it more and I kept on telling her that I do.
Her: It's probably best not to talk about religion and that stuff then. Because everyone thinks differently. And it only ends up in a argument
Her: I'm proud you stood up for yourself!
Me: I wasn't the one who brought it up, Taylor then. And thank you :). I just got tired of them talking about how evolution isn't real.
Her: They seem hard headed in their ways and I would say its not to say God didn't also create the world it's just that this is the fact in which how the world developed and maybe it was God who was behind the idea if the Big Bang
Me: Maybe, but then you also have to consider that there were other religions before Christian. Which is what kind of made me think that maybe God didn't create the Big Bang.
Her: Well a supreme being then
Me: Yep. The world may never know.
Her: True dat sista!
Me: haha I love you mom.
Her: I love you too kiddo. -
