Halfway across town, Miles and Alex were looking for a place to live. Alex tripped and almost drowned in a river. Miles was just looking around when Alex tripped over a frog. As Alex got up, Miles ran ahead leaving him behind.

Holly sniffed, looking around. The forest was silent. Angelica grumbled.
"Idiot...stop looking around. We have to keep moving." Angelica hissed, continuing to walk. The group of surviviors, which were kids from ages 10 to 15, were following, amused. Holly just quietly followed Angelica. -
Alex noticed that every house was missing on almost every street. Miles stopped. He quickly pulled out a small pistol, which he had since age 14. He aimed and...

Holly stopped. A loud noise awoke her from he rthoughts. Angelica cursed and began to run. The kids followed her, leaving Holly behind. A man came out from behind a tree, his face bloody, his arms half eaten, and his eyes blood red. A low growling came from his throat. Holly yelped, beginning to run.

Miles fired as what looked like his older brother. And watched as he hit the ground. Alex took off into the nearby forest. "Coward", he said and chased after him

The man/zombie ran after her, baring what seemed to be sharp teeth. Holly quickly continued to run.

Miles looked and saw another mutant was chasing a girl. He quickly took aim and fire, hitting it in the head.

The man fell, bleeding and dying. Holly fainted.

Alex quickly ran off screaming. Miles looked down at the girl, wondering why she was alone.

Angelica came out from behind a bush, scowling.
"Did you kill her? Ugh!" she squealed. Holly twitched. -
"No, but him" He pointed to the right next to a tree. "He tried to eat her,so I killed him."
