I let out a breath, then I return to the course we were on.

"Wow." I leaned back, relaxing a bit.

"hour and a half out," i tell you. "you okay? it got a littl tense there"

"I'm fine... That was cool." I grinned.

"welcome to my world," i say, grinning slightly too. "nothing now between us and North Point,"

"That's good." Everything was going to be fine. I had completely forgotten my recent escape. Soon I would be home in the palace, with my parents and- my parents. They were probably dead now.

I settle back, and look at the sunset. Unsure of what to say next.

I could feel a tear rolling down my cheek.

We cross over the sea, and I key my radio, "Allenfort, this is Grim. Returning from Operation..."

Things wouldn't be the same anymore. More important, I had to step up to be queen. Not ready for that.

"here we are, Allenfort Air Base, our last stronghold" i say as I bring the plane in to land.

"Thank you..." I whispered, trying to hold back the rest of my tears.

"its my job," i say, searxhing around for... there. I hand back a handkerchief

I accepted it quietly, wiping my tears. "Once I settle into being the next queen, I'll be sure you and your comrades are properly honored for your bravery."

"hey, dont worry about that. I dont need it. im just doing my job"
