For the first time in a week or so, I actually felt relaxed. I wasn't worried about escaping, or my father, or Alex's safe return. It was just the sea, him, and me.

"I always came here, even after I enlisted. Its calming," I say, forgetting about the war.

I sat down on the ground, not taking my eyes off of the ocean.

I sat down next to you, and cut off a slice of cake.

The sun was starting to set, painting the sky bright, warm colors. I glanced at him.

"Beutiful isnt it?" I ask, glancing over.

I nodded quietly, smiling.

"Just like..." I begin to whisper.

I leaned against his shoulder.

I smile, and whisper, "you"

My eyes widened, and I blushed a bit. Okay, not a bit. A lot.

"Its true," I whisper. "When I went up earlier, I had two reasons to come back, reason one was to stay alive, and to help win the war..."

I smiled faintly. "I'm glad you're doing both."

"Reason two was for you, youve become pretty special to me, and, well, I... Dont want to lose you."

Any blush that had left my cheeks came back.
