  Muse A is a bounty hunter. Rough, rugged, the whole package. He’s one of the best in the nation, sought out primarily by royals or aristocrats.
  He gets an offer to hunt down a vampire. This deal is different, though - his employer wants the bat alive, wrapped up like a present, completely unscathed. At first, he declines, but then the man offers a large sum of money. Money that could allow Muse A to quit the life of bounty hunting.
  
  So he accepts, and sets off to the forest Muse B lives - the in-between, where all the undead had been banished when magic became outlawed.
  
  Muse B is a vampire, and the complete opposite of Muse A. He’s smug, bratty, but fragile-looking and, even worse, crippled. He comes from old money, and lives in a castle-like building tucked between trees.
  He’s smart, though, and handsome, but is soon captured by Muse A.
  
  The trip to Muse A’s employer is long. What happens when the two spark feelings?’
