okay :D here was a very rough one of my boy comeulus around 2 weeks ago

and i was SOOOO excited to FINALLY DRAW HIM!!! but i got my boy basal here last night :D comeulus’s former friend i love them both dearly

and finally i’m working on a super rough draft right now that i’ll hopefully finish tomorrow, it looks awful right now with the proportions and poses but i like the concept😼!!

i came here to rant about them i actually love them so much right now and i have SOOOO much planned for them im excited to do, all of this is from my head though and usually im not good at drawing without refs but i think ive been getting better and i just want it to be nice so they can look nice because i love BOTH of them
the thing is i haven’t drawn cotton yet and i still need to design him, comeulus and basal’s designs are pretty much set to go but i haven’t decided on clothes for them either that doesn’t completely cover their designs so i was hoping to experiment a little
i think basal since he’s a gym bro he’d wear a white tank or something, maybe sweatpants too, he’s a very casual type of guy
comeulus i think would wear something casual too but still applicable to anywhere like a hoodie or a jacket
but im not closing myself into one set of clothes, ill draw whatever clothes i feel like drawing because really they don’t need clothes at all😭, their main design is the landscapes i have on them
the added accessories just look really fun
i really love drawing interactions though, i think this is one of my first clear character interactions ive ever drawn and they’re not even touching so😭 i love the speech bubbles though it reminds me of those small tidbit bite of life little scenes people would do with their characters and it feels very warm
i was expecting basal’s design to come out a lot worse than it did but honestly im very proud of him and i love comeulus too and i hope they live happy lives for the rest of eternity

this has made me realize i need to redraw comeulus so he isn’t a floating grass angel and he’s actually on the ground

the shadows throw me off😭 comeulus fix your dang shadow i gotta get to it
