i was trying to work on another composition by practicing rendering snow because i physically can’t make landscapes or snow
but i really can’t tell if this sucks or has potential but needs working on 😭😭😭 im going to need to come back later and decide lol

also he is holding a snowball, i was planning to sketch over it but im a little tired tonight so it might just have to wait until tomorrow
unless i never work on it again because my superpower is forgetting things -

this here was a little anatomy study i was doing on the neck and head
this was some gesture drawing and portrait practice i did a week ago
same day here but i drew without a ref bare skin and bone 😼🔥✌
aaand these were some small sketches i did today, i didn’t do much studying today but these were very fun to do

these were some concept designs i made for a collaboration that i ended up leaving because the director kinda sucked😭😭 i let him keep the people concept designs but i took my dragon designs because i was honestly very happy with them and i had a lot of good uses for them
and i DO realize im at the stage where my work actually will get stolen after someone tried to steal hence why i have a bajillion watermarks💔💔 im not going to post the other dragon concept design here because im going to wait until i can use him in my project and i dont want his design to be stolen yet -
i was also testing some smear frames in my work for fluidness, and i challenged myself to draw without guidelines:)) i ended up adding squares and line afterward to the anatomy because i always like the look of simplified shapes in my anatomy and i believe it looks a lot better than just having the contour down

it’s so crazy thinking i thought i had nothing more to learn at the start of the year but i look back and everything is just pieces of cut paper im still gluing back together
it will never be completely finished, im always going to find more shreds to add to my papery monstrosity, and its knowing you’re never finished learning in any pursuit
i’m just so excited to learn more -
i’m TRYING to learn to think in 3d forms but man it’s tough
