  For the life of me, I don't think I'll be able to remember the name of it, but when I was a kid and lived in Okinawa I remember watching anime on tv (this was before I even knew what it was). All I really remember about it was there was a girl and I think she was a witch or something but it was some normal upbeat story. Like I think she went to some school.
  
  That's my earliest memory of anime.
