HOLY CRAP SAILOR MOON IS BEING REMADE? OH MY GOD.
You know I mention this to everyone but wATCH TIGER AND BUNNY. IT IS SO GOOD. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MAIN PROTAGONISTS MAKES YOU GO "UHGUHGUG " AND ALL THE MINOR CHARACTERS TOO THEY'RE SO CUTE. AND ALL THE CHARACTERS YOU THOUGHT YOU WOULD HATE END UP HAVING SUCH A SAD LIFE OMG
except it's not a cute girly anime. buT IF YOU WANT CUTE AND GIRLY BOKU NO PICO IS GOOD---- /SHOT INTO ANOTHER DIMENSION -
Uhhhh maybe Attack on Titan it's really good
It's really good at portraying equals in gender.
None of the characters are over sexualized and they're all pretty great (plus the uniform makes everyone look hot so it's a winwin)
It has a lot of blood though andA LOT OF PEOPLE DIE BE PREPARED
And they'RE LIKE LITTLE MEDIEVAL SPIDER MEN THE THING THEY USE IS REALLY COOL OMFG THEY LIKE FLING THEMSELVES AROUND
But like Alice said about the Free! fandom it's basically the same people so there's a lot of crack in it and it's brilliant.
By the way, Alice, you know apparently male otaku are uncomfortable about the male bodies in Free!, right? Or some of them are, complaining because KyoAni makes like all those cutesy moe anime and "tHOSE MalES hAVE UNreALIST ExpectatioNS FOR THe maLE BOdY KYoanI IS OuR COMpanY WTf IS THis ??@?@?@?!??@>?>" according to them. -
I really liked the anime No. 6. It actually has a good plot and there's some mild action and mystery going on. It basically takes place in a supposed utopia city in the future, so it even has light sci-fi elements to it but it just goes together very nicely. The main two protagonists are teenage boys, and I will warn you that there is a kiss or two between them. Even if you see it as BL it's so mild and lightly done you can still enjoy the story if you're not a fan of it.
Basically if you'd like a fluffy anime with strong plot I suggest this one. c: -
From what I know, the boys are upset because the character seem to be somewhat homosexual and that bothers them. Not really because of their bodies, the male find everything to back up their excuse of not liking it.
And if they are going to whine about the male body in Free, then I dare them to go over the women from all the animes they've watches and think about how hypocritical they are.
Plus, he boy's bodies are like that because they are ATHLETES. They're not going to be really out of shape, nor are they going to be average! I have never seen in my life one athletic swimmer who didn't have some muscle on him. Swimming is a very serious sport.
We've never whined about their ecchi or hentai, so I don't see why they have to get mad over this. There's nothing wrong with the body's of the guys. They're just mad because the anime seems to be hinting a bit towards BL. -
Yeah, I know right? Like seriously women in anime grab each others' breasts and compare sizes but we deal with it, even when it makes us uncomfortable. I don't even understand where their reasoning is coming in, they're just pissed because for once not everything revolves around their d---s.

That is true, yes. But there's a lot of that in other fandoms related to it like video games and comics as well, I don't know I think anime is the least bad when it comes to those things? I could be wrong.

Video games are worse. Anime and comics are tied second.
