Enchanted Love 2 Connecting

Welcome to Enchanted Love 2 Connecting! I’m sure that the title gives away part of what will happen, but exactly how? Go on ahead to find out! The guys have a few things in store for you this day.

A quick recap: You just discovered you are the princess of Leavine, and that a girl named Thedara is out to kill you because you have a lot of power. You also learned that Moon is a Gale Wolf.

Created by: Skydragon
  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. You wake up early to the light of dawn shining through the windows of your glorious room. As you blink slowly, it takes you several seconds to recall what happened. As you remember, and regain full consciousness of your surroundings, you also notice Moon beside you. The Gale Wolf is already awake and is looking at you with sparkling eyes. “Good morning.” she greets.
  2. “You should get up. There’s a breakfast ready for you downstairs.” Moon tells you. So you toss your blankets aside and get up. You dress in whatever clothes you desire, and eventually head down the stairs to the dining room with Moon close behind you. When you enter, you find the boys already seated and enjoying themselves. Ryan smiles at you. “Good morning, ____. Come on over. We have eggs, bacon, bread, pancakes, anything you like.” he tells you from where he’s seated. As you let your eyes scan over the wide variety of food, his words are confirmed, so you seat yourself and select your food.
  3. The mood in the air is pleasant while you eat, and everyone seems to enjoy themselves. You and the boys eat your breakfast, while the wolves are chewing on some meat on the floor. David turns to you. “Today we’ll start traveling; we need to get going as soon as possible. And while we do, we will teach you how to use your powers.” he tells you.
  4. Michael continues the explanation. “And by that we mean; each of us will teach you something. As we all have different powers.” he adds, and pauses to take a bite of his bacon. After swallowing, he goes on. “Mine for example, is the elements.”
  5. The other boys nod. Ryan now speaks, “My ability is time; which is rather convenient, really. I can slow others down so I myself will seem faster.” he tells you.
  6. “My power is alchemy. Basically this is changing one thing into another using equivalent exchange. It is one of the most useful tactics in battle.” David explains. “Though it is one of the hardest as well.”
  7. Finally Avon tells, “I can use telekinesis; moving objects with my mind. That explains how I am such a speedy cook; I can do everything at the same time, and thus have it all happen so very quick.”
  8. David continues explaining today’s plan. “We will have to travel to a certain location in the forest. There is a pond there. It may seem innocent or the like, but we know of a way to use this pond to move between dimensions. Getting there will be no problem. But once we arrive in Leavine, you’ll have to be on your guard, so before we go, we will ensure that you can defend yourself.”
  9. “The first thing you’ll learn is to conquer time; because it is the best defensive tactic.” David tells you, and his eyes shift to Ryan.
  10. Ryan chuckles. “As soon as you’re ready, you should let me know, and we’ll get right to it. In the mean time, the other guys will pack up everything we’ll need. But take your time in having breakfast, of course.” he tells you.
  11. Once you finish breakfast, you accompany Ryan. He takes you to the garden behind the house, which contains a large chunk of forest. He guides you to a small patch of grass near a small stream. “Does this forest belong to you as well?” you ask Ryan. He shakes his head. “No, but no one ever comes here. This is also the way we’ll go towards the pond.” he tells you.
  12. Ryan becomes serious now, and he turns to the stream. “The easiest way to learn to control time is by focusing on something that moves so you can note the pattern and visualize it to be slower.” he explains, as he kneels down. He pats the grass beside him; inviting you to sit down as well. You get down on your knees beside him. “The sad thing is that I can’t demonstrate it, for you wouldn’t notice.” Ryan chuckles somewhat shyly. Then he regains himself. “Of course, the better you become at this power, the more influence you will have. For example, as of now, you would probably slow it for only a few seconds; causing time to slow down just a tad bit. But I myself have been able to change a second into one quarter of a second, and hold onto this for about ten seconds in my time. Do you understand?”
  13. Ryan focuses on the water again. “All right, now I will teach you how to apply this power. It is done through your senses, so for starters, it may be the best to also touch the water; with your hands or feet. For you will also hear it and see it. The more senses experience time, the easier it will be to slow it down.” he tells you. You nod, and reach out your fingers, until they are slid into the water. The cool, gentle pull feels good on your skin. Ryan nods in satisfaction.
  14. “Now use your senses; force the sounds to slow, the feel to slow, and the sight to slow. Visualize it; imagine it, and combine it with your senses. Increase your willpower. You have to want it for it to actually happen.” Ryan urges you. You concentrate on the feelings that pass by your fingers, the trickle your hearing, and the rush of the water that you’re seeing. You clench your teeth together, and begin to concentrate hard. You’re beginning to will the water to slow, for the sound of it to decrease in sound waves, and you’re beginning to deny the feelings in your fingers. For a second you believed you actually found time slowing. But Ryan applauds. “Well done.”
  15. Ryan smiles. “I saw you breathing a lot slower for a short while; I myself also slowed the time for myself, so I could observe you. If you slow time, your surroundings will slow down, unless they too of course slow the time. But you yourself will remain breathing and functioning as you usually would. I made the time move slower than you were capable of. But you surely are a good student, I must say.” he compliments.
  16. “Now that you know how it’s done, let’s practice.” Ryan decides. You approve of his idea. So you two remain by the creek for several more sessions, before Ryan believes he should make it a little harder for you. So he instructs you to slow time by watching and listening to the rustling leaves of a tree. You find this rather hard, since you had grown accustomed to feeling the movements, but you eventually succeed.
  17. Eventually Ryan has you learn it with his own movements. He simply moves his hand. Now you are truly struggling to slow time. With only one sense, you are forced to your current limits in willpower. But to your relief, you eventually succeed, and thus making Ryan rather proud of you. “I think that’s enough for now.” he decides, as you lean against a tree to regain your breath. After hearing Ryan speak, you spot Moon running towards you. She halts by the two of you. “Lunch is served.” she tells the both of you.
  18. You and Ryan follow Moon back to the house. On the porch at the back of the house, there is a table set for them. Avon, David and Michael are already there. You sit down between Michael and Avon.
  19. “So how’d it go?” Michael asks, after you have all settled down for the meal. “Pretty good.” you answer. “She’s a very good student indeed.” Ryan adds and smiles at you. Michael seems very satisfied. “Well, this afternoon it’s my chance to teach you. We’ll do so while we’re on the go.” he tells you.
  20. Lunch passes with small talk, and you join in this time. You learn that David is very fond of reading and writing poetry, while Michael enjoys nature and is very good at sports too. Avon is talented with music, and can play several instruments, while Ryan enjoys painting and having actual deep conversations; strange enough.
  21. When lunch is over, it’s time to leave the beautiful house. “So do we walk there?” you ask David. But he only laughs. “No, of course not. We travel like everyone does in Leavine.” he replies, but doesn’t exactly explain. Moon stands beside you, and she touches your leg. “Princess? Have a look at me.” she requests. As you turn your gaze, you nearly jump. You watch in amazement as Moon grows in size until she has the height of a medium horse. The Gale Wolf looks down at you with amused, twinkling eyes. “Interesting, isn’t it?” she asks in a sweet voice.
  22. For several moments you just stare and blink, before looking around to the boys. You find that they are all mounted upon their grown Gale Wolves as well. “Go ahead.” Moon says to you, before crouching down. You walk to her side, and place your hands on her back. You hesitate for a moment, but then you swing one leg over her back. “How do I hold on?” you ask Moon, while nearly clenching your ahnds ont her fur while she rises up to her full height. Moon laughs warmly. “Simply use your knees to hold on to me. But don’t worry. I won’t give you a rough ride.” she assures you.
  23. Avon comes up beside you. “Ready to go?” he asks you, and you nod. Grouped together, the five wolves start to move. David is in front, with Michael at one side, and Ryan at the other. You and Avon follow behind. The group passes by the creek that you recognize from earlier time training. All around you there are pine trees, grass and adorable animals.
  24. The wolves move in a walking fashion, and you feel slightly unstable during the first hour, but you get a lot better. Avon watches you carefully. “You seem all right now, correct?” he asks eventually. You turn your gaze to him and nod firmly. “Then let’s start to practice telekinesis, shall we?” he offers with a shy smile.
  25. Avon tells you there is no need to concentrate on the wolves; they’ll be just fine without your guidance. From a pack he took along, he withdraws a shiny stone, and reaches over to hand it to you. You look at it for a few seconds, before looking back at Avon with a questioning gaze. “You’ll be practicing with lifting that stone.” he tells you plainly. He blinks once then continues telling, “It’s not too hard, since you are already capable to turn your willpower into a force. It is the same with telekinesis. Yet as you are already aware, you do not force something to stop moving. You do the exact opposite and desire the object to move; preferably up in the air.”
  26. “Could you show me first?” you ask of Avon, and he nods; taking another small stone from his pack. He turns to you, with the stone in his hand. For a moment, a frown appears on his forehead, and the small stone rocks from side to side for only a split second, before it rises into the air slowly. It hovers for a few moments, before dropping back into Avon’s hand palm, after which he closes his fingers around it. “Having a part of your body touching the object in question makes it a lot easier to move.” he tells you. “Now you try it.” he adds.
  27. You make yourself comfortable, with the stone in your hand. You study the object carefully; taking in its characteristics. Then you begin to apply your willpower. You grow and force a desire for the object to rise. You feel it rock for a few moments, and this makes you lose concentration. You sigh in annoyance, but decide not to give up. You try it again, and after several tries, you manage to lift the stone up for a few seconds.
  28. Avon smiles at you. “You’re good.” he compliments your abilities. “You can keep that little rock to practice as we travel. You’ll get better at it that way. And if you do get better, you’ll be able to move larger objects soon.” he explains. So you keep the small object, and practice lifting it often, until you manage to have it hover above your palm for several seconds with hardly any difficulty. Avon remains watching you, and he smiles every time you succeed.
  29. As the sun is coming closer to the horizon again, David halts the group, and asks you all to assemble around him. “We will camp here for the night. Ryan, Avon and I will take care of camping and dinner, while Michael may teach _____ of elemental use.” he decides.
  30. Michael leaps of off his horse with unbelievable agility, and paces towards you. “Do you need some help coming down?” he offers with a playful smile, while holding his hand up towards you. You allow him to help you down, and when you are again upon your feet, Moon becomes her ‘normal’ size once more like the other Gale Wolves around her. “We should first find a useful location to practice.” Michael tells you, and he swiftly takes your hand, guiding you along through the trees to a clearing with simply sand.
  31. Once there, Michael releases your hand and stands in front of you. “I’m sure you’ve heard of the elements before. There are four basic elements; fire, earth, air and water. But you can also combine them to create ice or lightning.” he tells you. “Elements allow you an advantage in battle. It isn’t exactly a weapon. Unlike some may suspect, you are not able to make waves of air, water or fire appear; unlikely. Instead, you can engulf your body or something you control in one of the elements. Thus, if you were using a sword for example, you could use air to make sharper attacks, or earth to make yourself more powerful. I think you can understand this.”
  32. You nod in acknowledgement of his words. “Right, you can use this power through concentrating on a part of or your entire body or of course an external object that is in a way connected to y31our body.” he explains. “When concentrating upon your body for example, you will then also have to focus on an element. It may be hard, because you can not actually see them. That is why it can be hard to make it truly happen, but like the other powers, it works through willpower. Try it.” Michael tells you, and he allows a silence to fall. Thus you decide to concentrate upon your whole body, and you ensure that you are aware of every limb and part of your body. Then you decide to concentrate on fire and upon heat, and soon you begin to actually feel the heat. You find it easy to maintain this power, and you glance at your hand. You smile widely when seeing a red glow around your body, though it is slowly fading.
  33. Michael smiles and claps in his hands once. “You’re good. Achieving the elemental aura is a lot harder than maintaining it. Now I suggest you try the other elements as well; earth, air and water.” he tells you. So you do as he says. Now you concentrate on something fresh and free, and you manage to obtain a white glow of air. After this has faded away, you decide to focus on flexibility and a strong tide; gaining a cool, blue aura around your body. Finally you focus upon sturdiness and hardness to gain a green aura for earth. Michael seems very satisfied with your quick progress. “You are indeed a very good student, _____.” he tells you.
  34. “Now we will practice combining elements. There are two ways for doing so. You can either concentrate on the two elements you want to combine, which is easier, because you will combine them in doing so, yet it usually takes longer. Or you can concentrate on ice, for example. But this requires that you draw out the already combined element; forcing them to combine before you have put any energy into their usage. But it is your choice.” Michael tells you. You nod in understanding, and decide to try the latter that he described for ice. You think of extreme cold and solid, and you begin to shiver as you notice an icy blue glow around your entire body. “Good good, now try lightning.” Michael desires in a satisfied voice. So you concentrate again, and think of bursting energies and of movement through the air, and suddenly hear sparks like the sound of many birds chirping. When you look at your hand, you notice many yellow bolts of lighning traveling across the surface of your skin with incredible speed.
  35. Michael nods with his arms crossed before his chest. “Very good.” he judges truthfully. “I think that will be enough for now; don’t want to strain you too much. You still have one training to go through, after all.” he explains.
  36. You nod in understanding, and you allow Michael to guide you back to where the others had set up camp. A crackling fire was located in the midst of five tents. The other three boys are located around the fire, and have some a pot of soup upon the crackling logs. They also have another pot with boiling water placed upon it, of which David is making tea. Ryan is tending to the soup, while Avon is busy making a salad. You sit down by the fire with the other boys, and are given a cup of boiling tea, which surprisingly tastes delicious. While you are also given a bowl of soup, Ryan asked. “So are you able to make yourself burst with fire yet?” You grin and reply, “Yes. It will be interesting if I have an angry moment.” you tease the boys, after which most of them chuckle.
  37. The dinner does you all good, and you enjoyed it very much. While you enjoy another cup of tea, David tells you he’ll be training you for a short while before you will all go to sleep. You nod, and drink the last few drops of your tea. You both stand up, and David takes you to a spot several yards away from the fire. “To prevent anything from catching on fire if things go wrong.” he explains. “And since it’s gotten darker, we might as well use some of the fire’s light as assistance.” he adds. He pauses for a moment, and you wait patiently for instructions. “Alchemy is more complicated than the other powers, because you will need to know what particles can be exchanged for what other particles. It takes less effort to change something into something else, but you will need to use equivalent exchange, as I described earlier. It is like buying something. You need to give up something of equal value to gain something of equal value.” he explains.
  38. To your greatest annoyance, you spend most of the time learning about the different values of atoms and structures of certain objects and beings. It seems rather impossible to know them all, but David seems to preach about them like they were written in giant letters on your forehead. At a certain point, he hands you a book that seem to contain nearly all atoms and their values, and what certain materials contain considered their atom structure. So David asks you to change several crumbs of dirt into air. He tells you to focus on the atoms; as if feeling them, and changing them. It is harder for you to understand how to ‘feel’ atoms, but you soon get the hang of it, and you are rather amused by this.
  39. David nods in satisfaction after you get better at your alchemy. “You are a natural. Though you will still have to learn all the values, if you truly want to become good at alchemy. It’s a simple matter of memorizing.” he tells you. Then he stands up, and he offers you his hand; pulling you onto your feet. “But that’s for another day. I’m sure you’re exhausted after all of the happenings of the day.” he guesses, and you nod slowly. “Well then, let’s be off to sleep.” he decides, while walking back to the fire with you. The other boys excluding Ryan are there. It seems he already went to sleep. “Which one is my tent?” you ask, and Michael points to the one right of you. You thank him, and wish the boys good night before crawling into your tent. It doesn’t take long for you to fall asleep.
  40. That’s it for this time, sorry! Now go on ahead to the results. :)
