um.... whoever made this quiz needs help or to have a hearing check or something. I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL!!! but I also like GREEN DAY and maroon 5 and third eye blind and coldplay and some other newer stuff. lots of the bands you mentioned I've never even heard of. sigh, some people! I hate hip hop and rap and country and betoven stuff

There are only "rock" and "hip hop" artists there. I'm more eclectic than that. I like Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix, Led Zeppelin...BUT I also like other kinds of music, like Jazz, Funk, Soul, some good Electronic music, underground and innovative stuff...that it's done for the love of music, not money. Not your mainstream s---. I didn't know 75% of that crap...And I'm only 20, by the way, DJ and collector of 12" for some years now. I've learned to appreciate good music...kinda lucky nowadays :)

This is a terrible list, as the aforementioned stated, you neglected so many genres and decent bands it's pathetic you even attempted to label me through this poor excuse of a quiz. By the way, apparently you're a "rap" fan, learn the roots of your own musical taste and start checking out the originators of hip-hop/rap and listen to acts like Public Enemy and A Tribe Called Quest. Both of whom I respect, admire, and enjoy.

my favourite band mentioned was Boys Like Girls...i had to go along with the rest of the bloody thing by picking ones i wouldnt really listen to, but apart from that, it wasnt as bad as everyone is making out

Opinionated. What is good taste in music? I saw ONE question with the band I like.

Your more close-minded then me. What the hell are you talking about. I don't even PLAY guitar hero. And I like old music because it's better then the crap they make now. And yeah there is SOME good rap maybe out there but don't trash old music. I suppose you haven't even heard a Eric Clapton song or a Beatle song in your life. And most of the "old" music as you put it are the most highest selling records in the whole United States then any other musican since then to now, 2009. I haven't seen a single comment that said something good about your quiz.

I hate Hip-hop, Rap, and modern Pop. I like the 80's Pop, but still. I like a lot of Emo bands.

I'm not 100% sure if the following are Emo, though: Lavondyss, All That Remains, and Cradle of Filth.

I'll say that it is way more close minded to call someone close minded for their taste in music just because it is different than yours. And I'll agree, there is some good rap out there, but most if it is people that know absolutely nothing about music and/or it's theory. Just people making bad rhymes to a provided beat about their "Money" and their "Hoes". Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and that's what makes everybody different and diverse. So who are you to judge someone based on that?
