  1. You're driving to your friend Hailey's place. Just as you get to her street, she walks out into the street and you hit her. You run out and check her pulse. She's dead. There's a bright flash and then you're dead as well.
  2. You wake up in a room that seems familiar. The door is locked from the outside. The lock clicks and a guy walks in. "Good, you're awake," he says. "My name's Thomas. And you're ___, right?" He has fair skin, icy blue eyes, and dark hair. "Yes, I'm ___. But where am I?"
  3. "You're in Afterworld. It's a dimension that people go to when they die. I hope you like your room. It was specially designed for you. Come with me. I'm here to give you a tour of Afterworld." You follow.
  4. Outside, there's a mob. They have signs saying things like, "The Resurrection is upon us!" But one person stands out. A guy with sandy hair and aqua eyes. He sees you, but looks away quickly.
  5. "What's with the mob?" you ask. "Them? Oh, well a while ago, people here found out how to resurrect. You know, bring people back to life and stuff. But they have a law that prevents it because that would mess up everything. So people got angry. Don't worry, they can't hurt anyone. Nobody dies here."
  6. "Who's that guy over there?" Thomas pauses. "His name is Ben. We used to be friends." You drop the subject.
  7. You come to a park. People are crowded around a cloaked figure. "People of Afterworld, hear me! Brighton is coming soon, and he will bring us all into the world of the living!" Some people cheer, others protest.
  8. A man in a suit comes up. "Thomas, you remember the plan?" Thomas nods. "Good. You leave in the morning." The man walks off. "What was that?" you ask. "Top-secret. Sorry." "Pleeease tell me?" you beg. He sighs. "Fine. You know how that guy said that Brighton is coming? Well, Brighton came here once, and he knows about the resurrection technology. But he somehow returned to Earth and..." he gulps. "What?" You ask.
  9. "Brighton knows the lab where the resurrection equipment is. So now, he's gonna kill himself. And the only way to stop him is to go back to Earth and keep him alive. But don't tell anyone. Or else we'll all be ruined."
