  1. My alarm clock didn't ring yet, but it didn't matter. My face felt hot and I was sweaty. The dream. It was so real, so life like. Christofer and me looked younger there for some strange reason, but it was still him and me. He still kissed me. He still told me he loved me. He was still willing to sacrifice his life for mine. So then I started crying. It was sad tears, but partially happy ones too. I don't know what this feeling is called. Nostalgia is probably the closest I could think of, but I've never felt this way before. I needed to talk to someone. No, I needed to go for a walk. I looked at the time and saw I had 30 minutes to kill. I set my alarm off and wrote a post it note saying I was out and left it on the table.
  2. I locked the front door with my spare key and placed the key safely in my pocket. I breathed in the fresh air and started walking along the die walk. I let my legs decided where I was going because my mind was in a whole other universe. Dogs started barking while I walked by, but it didn't bother my train of thought one bit. I stopped thinking for a little just to see where my legs have guided me. I stopped right in front of a nice house with a freshly trimmed lawn and a cat chilling on the porch. "Jubbly!" I heard a familiar face call from inside the house. The cat's head popped up and he stood up. The front door opened and the cat pounced in. My legs have lead my to Sam's house. I needed someone to talk to, and I turned up at Sam's.
  3. "______?" Sam asked. "What brings you here to my fine estate?" He got out of the house and joined me outside. "Do you want to come in?" "I'm fine, thanks. And um, I just need someone to talk to, I guess," I said with a small smile. Sam sat down on the curb and motioned me to do the same. I sat down and sighed. "So what's on your mind?" He asked me with a friendly tone of voice. "I'm really flustered. I don't know how to explain it, but my mind is all clogged up and organized." Sam put his hand on top of mine. "The more your mind is unorganized, the better. You see things in a whole new perspective as if you're another person. You become more imaginative and more artsy. Fogged up minds make you think more about things and I find it absolutely amazing. Of course, that's just me. Organized minds are good too. They're just not as colorful."
  4. Sam is the reborn Confucius. God, this kid is deep. "I've never thought about it that way. Have you ever considered becoming a therapist?" I asked with a smile. "No, I haven't. I'm more interested in become a Teen Titan, but becoming a therapist doesn't sound oh so bad either," he replied with a grin. I laughed and said, "You should be a therapist. We could have daily sessions." "If that means I get to see you more then I'm in," Sam said without hesitation. There's something about him that can make me smile like such an idiot. "If you want to see more you could stop by any time if you want, you know," I told him. "I could, but then I'd practically be living in your house. I like being with you. You're really easy to talk to, and I don't really have to try hard to keep the conversation going because it comes out naturally." I nodded. "I like being with you too. Did you know you're the only person that I think I've ever had deep conversations with? I feel like you get me. I feel like I can trust you with anything." Sam intertwined his fingers with mine. "It's because you can. I'm a really good secret keeper." A small laugh escaped me and I started blushing. "So a Teen Titan, huh? That sounds promising." Sam laughed and said, "A Teen Titan or a Pokemon trainer. I'm kind of still deciding." ~
  5. Before I started walking back to my house I hugged Sam for about two minutes and kissed him on the cheek. It was the least I could do since he has to put up with my emotions on a daily basis now that he's my therapist. My Oprah; my Dr. Phil. I felt better since I let some of my feelings out. I still had troubled thoughts about Christofer and what Ivan said about Zac, but it had to wait because I'm going to be warm and cozy watching the Nightmare Before Christmas. I got my favorite blanket from upstairs and wrapped it around myself as Alex handed me a nice, warm mug of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows. We sat down on the couch as the previews for the movie were playing. "Is Auntie Lisa coming?" I asked him. Please say no, please say no. She cannot stop talking whenever we're watching a movie. She's always like, "what's going to happen? Why is that girl going inside the house?" Ugh. "I told her about it but she said she's rather sit out and let you and me get to know each other better while watching the movie," Alex said with a grin. "Oh. Well um, Okay," I said lamely. "You want some blanket?" "Sure." Alex scooted in to me and I shared some of my blanket with him as we drank hot chocolate. It would be romantic, but considering the fact that he has a date coming up makes it really uncomfortable for me. Alex played the movie with the remote and it started.
  6. We sat there in silence just watching the movie. I personally think Tim Burton is a genius. Have you seen his version of Alice in Wonderland? Amazing. "What's the ghost dog's name again?" I asked Alex. He took a drink of his hot chocolate and replied, "Zero, I think. So in the end, Jack and the girl get together right?" "Well they start singing together so I guess so, yeah," I replied, the corners of my lips tugging up. "I like your smile," Alex said unexpectedly. We were watching the movie in the dark, and yet his eyes were the only thing I could see. "Why?" I was so insecure about my look and I never really expect compliments—especially from boys. "Because it's contagious. It makes me smile. Besides, it's really cute. You should smile more often because it looks good on you." I tried not to blush, but it was so hard not too. "Oh." Alex laughed. "Like I said, you make things really awkward sometimes, Princess."
  7. I really do now that I look back on things. We continued watching the movie without any interruptions. I finished my hot chocolate and set the mug on the table beside me. You know how sometimes hot chocolate makes you sleepy? Well, I guess I fell asleep on Alex's shoulder. That's all I remember anyways. I remember trying to keep my eyes open for the rest of the movie, but it gave way and I knocked out. Because of the dream I had last time, I was so afraid of what was going to go through my mind again, but there was nothing. It was all black.
  8. "Hey, wake up you two," I heard someone say. I was poked in the stomach, which made me jerk awake. I opened my eyes to find Auntie Lisa standing there with a big smile on her face. I heard a yawn and Alex slowly opened his eyes.My goodness, how can one person look so good in the morning without even trying? "Morning already?" He asked, rubbing his eyes. Completely ignoring his question, Auntie Lisa took out her phone and showed us a picture. "You two are the cutest things in the world!" She exclaimed. It was a picture of Alex and me, cuddling up in the blanket. I was sleeping on his shoulder while his head was resting on top of mine, sleeping as well. "You took a picture...?" I gave Auntie Lisa a look and she mimicked it back at me. "Of course I took a picture. If I didn't then you guys wouldn't know how cute you guys were." I glanced at Alex whom was wearing a smile on his face.
  9. "We do look cute. You have to agree on that," Alex said as we were walking through the gates of school. "Okay, yeah we do. But still, she took a PICTURE. Isn't that kind of weird? Besides, what happened to that girl you have a major crush on." I sounded bitter. "Whoa there, someone sounds jealous," Alex said with a smile. "I'm not jealous of her. I have no reason to be." "Of course you don't. But anyways, it's not like we kissed. We just slept in a very couple like position. Although I can imagine how much you wanted to kiss me." I stopped walking and turned to face him. "How can you possibly imagine that?" Alex chuckled under his breath. "Because I want to kiss you just as badly as you want to kiss me. And knowing myself and how I look, you want to kiss me bad." I felt my cheeks go red as I blushed. "Then why don't you? Why don't you kiss me?" I sounded a little pushy but I didn't care. "I'll answer that when you do," Alex said with a grin. I don't know how he does it, but whenever he says something like that, the bell always rings in his favor so that he has a dramatic exit. But he's right. I want to kiss him. I want to kiss him, but I don't.
  10. It was finally Friday. The whole first week of of school was coming back at me all in this single moment and I nearly had my mind blown into pieces. I walked to math, slowly but surely, and sat down in the my seat. April wasn't there, and I was kind of disappointed. I could use some girl on girl conversation right now. But at least I had Nick. We sneaked glanced at each other every once in a while, and that's about it since we had a test today. The bell rang for break and Nick was waiting for me outside of class. "Hey, do you like koalas?" He asked. "That's really random, but yeah. I think they're cute and fuzzy looking. Why?" Nick took out two passes with a smile and handed one to me. "My uncle got me passes to the zoo and we can meet some koalas. Like hold them and feed them and such. We can even visit the pandas. I think you might like pandas better because they're cuter in my opinion. So do you wanna go with me?" I smiled, which broke into a wide grin. "Yeah, I'd love to go! But if you don't mind me asking, why me?" "Just consider it as your birthday present to me," Nick said with a gleam in his eyes. I put the pass in my bag and one of his friends called him over to join them. "So Sunday, then?" He asked. I didn't even hesitate when I nodded my head. He hugged me goodbye with a heavy smile and left.
  11. I made my happily to the benches and sat down. "You look happy," Zac said as he sat down across from me. I smiled widely. "It's because I am." "Can you tell me why?" "Because I'm going to the zoo with Nick to meet some koalas and pandas," I beamed. Zac laughed and replied, "That sounds like fun. So you like him?" My smile fainted a little. Did I like Nick? Of course I do. But I also like Alex, Sam, Christofer, and even Zac. My God, I'm such a pimp. "That information is confidential," I told him. "So that basically means yes," Zac said, playfully kicking me under the table, but not too hard. "Is April sick?" I asked, changing the subject. Zac frowned. "Yeah. I went over yesterday to her house and made her soup and we watched Up in her room. She has the fever."
  12. "What a good boyfriend you are," I told him with a smile. Really though; Zac knows how to treat his ladies. He smiled adorably. "Thanks. It's too bad she wont make it to Nick's party though. I told her I'd stay with her but she insisted me on going so that if something dramatic happens I can tell her." "Aw, that sucks. At least you have Alex and me," I responded. "Like that's supposed to cheer me up," he replied sarcastically. "Speaking of Alex, he told me about you planning his date. How's that working out?" I shrugged. "It's already planned. He just needs me to help him decorate the park and such. Do you know she is?" "No. I have an idea, but I'm not sure who." "Who?" I asked eagerly. "Denise Jaminson."
