It's important to know that this is only for fun. You will run as the Liberal Party, against the rising Socialist Party and the Conservatives. There was a huge regional war that plagued the region. Conservatives won against you after you've failed to appease national fervor for joining the war to reclaim lost land, as well for failing to stop striking workers. The conservatives however, despite winning wartime elections, they had 40% of seats, with your 15% having enough for a minority government. The war was lost and elections are planned for 1922, 3 years from now. You must take action to salvage party image and gain chance at winning elections. The elections are using a census tax and age limit that is high to curtail the access to voting. Most are middle class, however, the rising socialist tendencies in government apparatus and workers banding together to collect money for the census, the conservatives have limited vote further according to property. To stove off anti war sentiment that benefits the reds, and for monarchy to save face, has appointed you as minority government. You are tasked with dealing with land reform, unruly trade unions, extremism, economic downturn and a lost war. Good luck!

You can either go right leaning, left leaning, or combine approaches, but beware, you can be ousted, overthrown or lose elections. The metrics are:Unemployment, Economy and Poverty. While not essential per say to keep high, since you seek reelections, having them low means your tenure won't be that great long term. If instability is top high, expect fascism and communism, maybe even an overthrow. If your party dissent is too high, expect to lose backing. Electoral Success determines how close you're to winning. Social Rights, Workers Rights and Political Freedom measures general law changes, while inefficient Bureaucracy measures how likely for government to become bloated and corrupt. Can you manage to win? Current Parliament structure: 35% socialists, 15% liberals, 10% independents and others, 40% conservatives. Socialists are estimated to win big. The King expects you to turn situation around. Good luck!

The Communists formed own even more revolutionary party, while reformists have seen another split, of independent MPs. The nation is strategic for our economy and have proven to be benevolent creditors. If we allow it to falter, we may have a big problem. Nationalist sentiment is running high, and the morale already low. However, we must do something. They have requested aid. If we fully commit, we can win, if not, we could fund partially.
  24. Economic downturn has caused the welfare spending to be ineffective, demanding a raise in spending to keep it on par with inflation and economic growth. Our members advise on spending instead on other things, or simply gut the services entirely.
  25. SCANDAL! FLASH NEWS!Party elites and business associates have been exposed in a scandalous affair. Media has revealed a grave corruption case of embezzlement, of birberies and extortions as these party backers are rich, influential and bring much needed economic support. Their investments are strategic, and are actually planning a second round of vitam investments. What should we do? Our party advises we ignore the debacle, while some even ask for press media censorship on the case.
  26. In rurak areas, there's still an active "political machine", granting free votes to the Conservatives. We also wanted electoral reform, so this is in line with our view, but party advisors suggest using it for our benefit instead. Given the precarious trends, we stand to lose. Should we go ahead and use it though to boost ourselves?
  27. Our economic advisors have suggested more economic spending, and while our party hates debt, even they are keen to invest now, with several projects on the table. Among them, new oil deposits were discovered and it would do wonders for economy and slashing unemployment if a joint venture with our allied nations would commence, it would need some investment. 29. An economic project to expand a vital railway through several villages to connect two major cities has been blocked by angry protesters and petitions were sent demanding project to be halted. The courts ruled in our favor, but despite this and some compensation, people want this project cancelled. While it was normally a small case, our opponents profited and made it a big hit for us. Our electorate is mixed, and we stand to gain if we give in to our people, but such would cancel the project and end with wasted money. Local liberal mayor petitioned us to dislodge the protesters, while our ministry of finance warned he'll resign if even this project gets cancelled. What do we do?
  30. Sharecroppers and poor laborers are almost enserfed by predatory contracts, by landlords. Meanwhile, the far right has had several key members collaborating with militias that have been involved in murders of academics, but lately, against a mayor of a major city, a socialist mayor. Somehow, the case made it's way to the supreme court, where you have some influence, and where you can interfere. Which side will you take? Your party prefers a neutral stance.
  35. We can begin improving the tax code to unify the tax code across regions, as well work with the Central Bank to fully centralize monetary issuing policies. Most of the party is in favor of this, though restructuring will mean more cash spent and root out certain corruption that is favorable to us.
  36. A region of our nation closer to the border with the nation we just warred is struggling to rebuild. The region is already historically poor, with this just cementing it's desire for more freedom. We could work on either more decentralization, more funding, or a mixture.

  41. The nobility, while less powerful nowadays, still holds some privileges, such as being peers in the upper chamber of the Parliament, as well certain legal privileges, government estates and pensions, as well certain cultural rights. While abolishing peerage is off the table thanks to the Conservatives having 40% of the seats, we can pass with the Socialists policies to weaken nobility titles and even regulate how their inherited. While the more traditional voters do not like progress, increased resentment with the system has made this change uniquely controversial and volatile, possibly allowing for radical change. Our party is okay with reforms , but it would prefer minimal reform at the moment.
  42. It's 1921, a new year. The fascists and the Conservatives struck an agreement for a political alliance, shaking things up and putting us under pressure to conform. While the street violence toned a bit down, and international economic recovery means creditors are more generous. Our debt has also stopped accumulating that fast, but with a bit of luck, we could at least get an economic recovery of our own.
  43. Our socialist neighbor has started making calls for economic cooperation and strategice partnerships with our government, prompting huge suspicions. The regime, while antagonistic to us, has struggled so far to supply with energy the power grid and the growing industry. However, a natural border between you, the Ren river, was already planned for a dam project, with past government working with us on it. Such project would not only mean a dam, but new roads and profitable trade in the region, rekindling the local industry. However, accepting investments from Communists will not sit well with many, but the region is already struggling, and further investments would be able to revitalize our economy and make us more independent energetically. What do we do Prime minister?

He used a bomb and a firing gun, getting himself killed in the process. The right wing of our party and conservatives are fuming, however, the Left cheers, as Socialiste already scramble with a proposal for a Republic. The monarchy is rather unpopular, however, profiting from this may not be best. The left wing of our party wants a Republic. The Constitution provisions that the Parliament sets a regency and that the Regency appoints a new king. The courts, if pressured, can overlook the constitutional vagueness surrounding whether the Regency can declare a presidency and end the monarchy, creating a grave constitutional crisis, BUT one that will allow cooperation with the Socialist Party to create a glorious republic. The monarch's line is part of a nation that helps us a lot.
  47. As things could not get any worse, the demobilization is almost done, however, some rowdy generals and soldiers have seized guns and have marched to occupy a nearby city, part of the nation that we just lost to. What do we do?
  49. You have the ability to offer amnesty to prisoners. Many have been arrested over political affiliation. Funnily enough, we could offer such to gain the support of one or the other, or we could try for all political prisoners. What do we do?
  50. We can reform public sanitation laws and establish a comprehensive committee for sanitation. While measures exist, we need to further improve public hygiene. 52. Pressure groups demand that poll watchers be an official part of the electoral process. They see it as a railguard against voter suppression and political machines. While we are not particularly benefiting from such shenanigans, we could make one exception hehe.
  53. The government has been contacted by several major industry players from another nation, investors, at last! However, for investments that could weaken debt to GDP ratio, they ask for special rights. This, and the fact they will provide with new factories surpassing ours, means that a lot of craftsmen and smaller businesses will get pushed away, as foreign capital will overtake local markets. What do we do?
  54. One of the remaining policies on economy we can amend is regarding the national park. It has started to be a waste of budget, and if we expand it and refurbish, we could have it be a tourist attraction for rich people. This though, means banning the amount of felling done by locals, who are poorer and need provisions for the winter, hunting as well on the property. Should we restrict peoples access to the forest?
  55. The Parliament can pass one more social law. To boost our popularity, we can ban homosexuality. It's technically illegal, but due to an overlook in crafting the criminal code. Regardless, despite homosexuality not being a debated topic, but the free political capital in this ever increasingly right wing atmosphere can save us. The socialists are abstaining, with some ready to ban it, while we got full conservative backing.
  56. The Parliament is preparing to close. As last review of the budget undergoes, our government is able to push through with finishing up a series of projects. The state board of supervisors ask for more funding. While that's expected, many in our cabinet suspect embezzlement and incompetence, suggesting we instead replace them. While the projects won't finish in time, the new crew will make sure to use resources efficiently. Our party supports such, especially that it paints liberal struggle against the state as good one. The third option is simply not do anything.
  57. We can pass some ordinances to start closing our current term. We have some powers to pass laws by decree, therefore, we can use this to push for more liberal reforms, improve economy and increase our popularity with the electorate. While this is normal procedure, given the volatile and turbulent period, our political opponents are keen to resist our changes and attack us from all angles. Passing these ordinances may cause more anger than it's worth passing them.
  58. The campaign is soon beginning, and the Conservatives have surprisingly invited you to form a united list with them and the Fascists. Despite past antagonism, they feel this unity coalition to restore pride in Asmoria is the way to go. Their National Rejuvenation Front seeks to restore full order and protect business interests. However, at the same time, a part of your party is veering to the left more than ever, and, with the Socialists splitting from the Communists, we saw the Communists form own militias, and the Socialists disarm most of their militia. Furthermore, they're opened for an alliance too. While we gained from nationalist rhetoric, it feels the upsurge in fascism exceeding expectations and may stiffle our appeal to moderate conservatives. Party seniors recommend we ally the Right, and at best, go alone in this.
  59. With the rise of nationalism, can we still ride the populist wave? If so, we can adopt nationalist messaging in our campaigning.
  60. Should we campaign for the traditional voterbase, the middle class and business men? The students? It seems fascists are gaining easy ground on our turf, so, in other words, we can try work with smallholder farmers, and if not, the urban proletariat and the unemployed. Where should our focus be? This is the last action!
