A Romantic Hogwarts Story Part 3

Hi Thank you for taking this! Thank you so much for supporting me and my writing! Just to let you know, the results are what the boys are thinking, they may not have anything to do with this part. Just saying. Without further ado, I present A Romantic Hogwarts Story Part 3!

You're _____ _____, a transfer from America who's Australian. You're starting you're third year at Hogwarts and ready for a brand new start, but there are complications. Starting from your third year, here it is!

  2. What is your gender?
  1. Hey guys! I'm back! Seriously, thank you guys so much for reading my story! It means a lot to me! Please, read natuhleegayle, HogwartsLove, bluebird, spottydinosaur, Aria, and 5thmarauder's stories! They're awesome! I thank them for inspiring me to write this series! I still have to give credit to two Australian shows, H20: Just Add Water, and Home and Away for using some characters and some ideas that the shows had. Anyway, this is A Romantic Hogwarts Story Part 3!
  2. Here's what happened the last time. Draco and Neville found out you were a mermaid after Fred and George poured water on you because you poured cold water on them, and they laughed at you, hurting your feelings. Ron called you clueless while Harry defended you. You were so angry you accidentally started making a fist, heating up everything around you.
  3. At first, everything seemed normal. That's when it happened. The table you and Matilda were sitting at caught on fire. The two of you jumped up and backed away. "Mat, what happened?" you asked. "Look at your hand," she whispers. You look down to see that your hand was curled into a fist. You immediately released your hands, but that wasn't enough to stop the fire. Everyone else in the room was freaking out as the fire grew. (Writing this sentence I was so thinking "everyone one else in the room can see it." Just saying.) "Aguamenti!" you and Matilda shouted. The fire began to die down as the water hit it. "I knew this would happen. I just didn't want to tell you kids about it so that you wouldn't be freaked out," Professor Trelawney said once the fire was out. "Why is she acting like nothing happened?" you whisper to Matilda. "I have no idea," she whispers back. You could tell everyone in the class rolled their eyes, even you and Matilda did. "Let's continue the lesson," Professor Trelawney said. "Girls, find somewhere else to sit." You decided to sit with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, who had suddenly appeared, while Matilda sat with Neville.
  4. Please skip this, I keep making accidental questions........
  5. "Today you will learn about reading tea leaves," Professor Trelawney says. She brings out tea cups. She passes one out to everyone. "Professor, how are we supposed to read the tea leaves?" Matilda asks. "Drink the tea in the cup," Professor Trelawney answers. Everyone is hesitant to drink, even you. "Drink it. Don't worry, it isn't poisoned," she says. You decide to be brave and drink first. It was actually decent tea. "Guys, drink it. It isn't half bad," you whisper to Harry, Hermione, and Ron. They look at each other and then drink the tea. Everyone else then drinks their tea. "Now that you are finished, take the cup of the person sitting opposite of you. Then look at the bottom of the cup. Decipher what figure it is and then look it up in your book. That figure is their fate," Trelawney says. You take Hermione's cup and she takes yours. All you can see is a blob. You try to use your imagination and you still can't find anything. Trelawney walks over to Neville's table. "You boy is your grandmother well?" she asks him. "I think so," he replies. "I wouldn't be so sure. Give me the cup," she said. Matilda handed her the cup. She looked at it and then gave it back. "Oh, such a shame," she said. Neville then took the cup from Matilda looking worried. The Professor Trelawney moved onto your table.
  6. "What do we have here?" Trelawney asks. "Let's start with the girls," she says. You're eyes widen. "What do you see?" she asks you. When you look at the cup, you finally see something. "I sense that you've found something. What is it?" Trelawney asks you. "It's an acorn," you say. "What does it mean?" Hermione asks. "It means windfall or unexpected gold," you explain. "And what do you see?" she asks Hermione. Hermione looks in the cup. "I see..... a cross," she says. "And it means.... trials and suffering," she adds. 'Oh that can't be good,' you think. "Let's move onto the boys now," Trelawney said. "What do you see?" she asks Ron. "Well, Harry's got a wonky cross, and that there could be a sun, which is happiness. So he's going to suffer but he's going to be happy about it," Ron said a bit confused. "Let me see. Give me the cup," she said taking the cup. "Oh oh!" she screamed. "You have the grim," she says to Harry as the entire class gasps in horror.
  7. You all leave class thinking about the grim. "I have no idea what the grim is," Matilda said as you were walking to your next class, which was Care of Magical Creatures. "It's an omen of death in the shape of a black dog," you explain. You see a girl in the distant who looks familiar. She turns around and waves at you. You realize that it was Charlotte. "Hey Mat look, it's Charlotte," you say to Matilda. You wave back to her. Charlotte then tells her friends something. Then she walks over to you. "Hey guys," she says. "Hi Charlotte," you and Matilda say. "How's it going?" she asks. "Not very good. I got a horrible fortune in Divination. Apparently I'm going to suffer," you say to her. "And I got a relatively good fortune. I'm going to have great happiness. You?" Matilda says. "I'm good, I had a very boring Ancient Runes class," Charlotte replied. "It sounds better than Divination," you say. "What do you think we're going to do?" Matilda asks. "I have no idea," Charlotte says. The three of you stand where everyone else is. "Everyone listen up. I have a special treat for you today. Follow me into the forest," Hagrid says. "Is this safe?" Matilda asks. "Well, we're with a teacher. I guess it's safe," you say. "Open your textbooks," Hagrid says. "How do we do that?" you hear someone say from behind you. You turned around and it was Draco. "You just stroke the back of it," Hagrid says. You look at Draco and laugh as he strokes the back of the textbook. He looks at you and waves. You wave back and walk towards him. "You guys go ahead. I'll catch up," you say to Matilda and Charlotte while stopping for a little while. "Are you sure?" Matilda asks. "Yeah, there's someone I want to talk to," you say. "Ok, we'll go ahead," Charlotte says walking ahead. You walk over to Draco despite the fact that all of the Gryffindors and Slytherins can see you.
  8. "Hi," you say while walking next to him. "You're talking to me where everyone can see even after I insulted you?" he asked. "Well, you know more about me then anyone else so why not," you say. You look and he was staring at you. You laugh. "What?" you ask. "Nothing," he says. "Then why are you staring at me?" you ask him. "I don't know. You just seem....." he stops talking. "I seem what?" you ask him. "Different from everyone else," he says. "Is that a good thing?" you ask. "Yeah, it's a good thing," he says. You realized you were walking really slow. "We should catch up with the others. Class is about to start," you say to him. "Yeah," he says. The two of you walk a little faster and catch up with the rest of the class. You wave good-bye as you walk towards Charlotte and Matilda.
  9. "Hey, I'm back," you say to them. "We can see that. So who did you want to talk to?" Matilda asked. "Draco," you say. "Why?" she asked. "I just wanted to say hi," you say to her. "So what do you think the lesson is about?" Charlotte asked. "I have no idea," Matilda answers. "I can't believe Dumbledore has this oaf teaching classes," you hear someone from behind say. You turn around to see it was Draco. "Well, that's mean," Matilda whispers. "Shut up Malfoy," you hear someone else say. You turned around again to find that it was Harry. "Oh, not very friendly," Draco retorted stepping closer to Harry as everyone crowded around them. You decided to step in. You stepped forward a little bit. "You guys, stop. We don't need a fight in the middle of the Forbidden Forest," you say. They both backed off, much to everyone's surprise. "Everyone, look over here," Hagrid said. Everyone turned around to face him. "This is what we'll be learning about. Ta-da!" he added. He moved out of the way, revealing a rather large bird. "Hagrid, what is that?" Matilda asked. "This is Buckbeak. He's a hippogriff. And hippogriffs are proud creatures. You never want to go insulting a hippogriff. It may just be the last thing you do," he explains. You, Charlotte, and Matilda just stare at Buckbeak. "So who wants to say hi to him?" Hagrid asks. No one dares to move. "_____, why don't you?" Hagrid asks. You stand there frozen as the rest of the class moves back.
  10. "Come on forward, don't be shy," Hagrid tells you. You begin to slowly move forward. "You can move a bit faster," he says because you were barely taking any steps. You wanted to make sure you weren't going to get hurt. You slow-walked towards Buckbeak. You stopped waling after you had walked 8 feet. "Now bow. nice and deep," Hagrid said. You slowly began to bow. Buckbeak then acts twitchy. "Back off," Hagrid says. You continue bowing but start slowly backing away. 'I'm so going to die,' you think. Behind you, no one dares to speak. You look up at Buckbeak. He looks at you and begins to bow. Hagrid and the rest of the class began to clap. "Great job _____!" he yells. "Now you can you and touch him," Hagrid says. You walk closer to Buckbeak. As you get within 2 feet of him, you put your hand out. "Slowly," Hagrid says. 'Buckbeak is so going to bite me,' you think. You move your hand towards his head. He begins to move his head towards your hand, and you pull back your hand a little. 'Don't bite me!" you think. You begin to sweat a little as you move your hand closer to his head. You finally touch him after he lowers his head, masking it easier for you to touch him. "That wasn't so bad," you say to Hagrid. "See, now I think he'll let you ride him," Hagrid says. "Wait what?!" you scream as Hagrid lifts you onto Buckbeak. "This is insane!" you scream as Hagrid hits Buckbeak in his rear end.
  11. You look down at everyone as Buckbeak flies higher into the air. You wrapped your arms around his neck. As he flies, you feel so serene. Like no matter what you go through, it will always be ok. He flies lower so he's just above the Black Lake. You move back a little and look down. You look at Hogwarts as he's flying and realize that maybe it isn't so bad after all. He flies a little higher and you start thinking. "You know Buckbeak, maybe this place isn't so bad after all," you say to him. "It's nice to have a fresh start," you continue even though you know he won't understand you. "I know you don't understand me. Well, maybe you do, but I'm glad Hagrid picked me to fly with you," you say to Buckbeak while stroking him. You hear Hagrid whistle from the Forbidden Forest. You take one last look at the lake before landing.
  12. "Wow! Great job _____!" you hear Hagrid say. You land on the floor with everyone congratulating you. Hagrid lifts you off of Buckbeak. "That was so cool!" you say to Hagrid. "Did you like it?" he asks. "Yeah, it was fun!" you say still hyped up. "Thank you so much Professor," you say to him. You run over to everyone else. "What was it like?" Hermione asks you. "It was so much better than flying on a broom!" you say. "How was it better than flying on a broom?" Harry asks. "I didn't bump into a tree!" you say laughing. You see someone push everyone out of the way heading towards Hagrid. "Draco, you don't need to push," you say without seeing his face. "How'd you know?" Matilda asked. "I thought it was that obvious," you explain. "It isn't that hard to try to touch you, you big ugly brute," Draco said to Buckbeak. "Malfoy, no!" Hagrid shouts, but it's too late. Buckbeak goes crazy. While everyone else runs for shelter, you and Charlotte watch as Buckbeak scratches Draco in the arm.
  13. "Buckbeak! Woah, woah!" Hagrid says to Buckbeak. You and Charlotte look at each other. Draco is moaning in pain. "Calm down, it's just a scratch," Hagrid says. "Hagrid, he has to be taken to the hospital!" Hermione shouts. "Ok, I'll take him," Hagrid says. "Oh you and your bloody chicken!" Malfoy screams as Hagrid carries him to the hospital wing. "Do you think he's going to be ok?" Charlotte asks. "Yeah, he'll be alright," you say. You hear someone crying behind you. "Pansy, are you alright?" Charlotte asks her. "No, he got hurt! That stupid oaf should be sacked!" Pansy screams. "Look, he'll be fine. If you want, I could go with you do visit him if you want," you say. "Really?" she asks sniffling. "Yeah, I was planning on visiting him anyway," you say. "Ok, that'd be nice," she says. "Good, Charlotte do you want to come?" you ask Charlotte. "Yeah, I'll come," she says. "Ok, well I'll see you guys later," you say to them. You walk over to Harry, Hermione, and Ron. "Hey guys," you say. "Wow, what a great show!" Ron says. "Ron, that wasn't funny," you say sternly. "She has a point. Even if it was Malfoy, someone got hurt in class," Hermione says. "Well, you have to admit it was funny," Ron said. "No it really wasn't," you say. "You're a Gryffindor. You aren't supposed to feel sympathy for Slytherins," he says. "So because of what house I'm in, I can't be friends with people that understand me and want to be my friend?" you ask. "No, that's not what I meant. I meant why are you friends with someone as stupid as Draco?" he asks. "Ron, that's enough," Hermione says. "She can be friends with whoever she wants to be," she says. "Thank you Hermione," you say. "I agree with Ron, but if you want to be friends with him it's your choice _____," Harry says. Just then, someone taps you on the shoulder. You turn around to see Charlotte. "_____, we're going to visit Draco before class starts. Do you want to come?" she asks. You look at Harry, Ron, and Hermione. "Go, we'll be fine," Hermione says. "Ok, I'll see you later in class," you say as you walk away with Charlotte and Pansy.
  14. "So I want to ask you something," Charlotte says to you. "Ok go," you say. "What do you think of Draco?" she asks. "Well, he's funny, I'll give you that. He doesn't seem that bad, and that's all I pretty much know," you say. "Do you like him?" Pansy asks. "Yeah, I mean, he's been really nice ever since he apologized," you say. "No, I mean do you like, have a crush on him?" Pansy asks. "Why do you ask?" you ask. "You seem like you do," she says. "I don't know. I mean, I don't really know him," you explain. "So you sort of have a crush on him?" Charlotte asks. "I don't know," you say. "Well, I hope he's ok," Pansy said. "He'll be fine," you say reassuringly. The three of you entered the hospital wing as you see Draco's eyes open.
  15. He immediately sits up. "Oh Draco!" Pansy screams. "Are you ok?" Charlotte asks him. "I could be better," he answers. Pansy grabs a stool and sits on it next to Draco. She gives him a big hug. "I'm so glad you're ok!" she sobs into his shoulder. You laugh but quickly cover it up with a cough. "Are you ok?" she asks you. "Yeah, I'm fine," you say while trying not to laugh. "My father will hear about this," he says. "Hopefully that stupid oaf Hagrid will be sacked!" he says. You glare at him. "SO how was flying?" Charlotte asks you. "Oh, that. It was quite relaxing actually. It was much better then I thought it would be," you say. "Well, we better get to class," you say. "I'll be a little late," Pansy says. "Ok, we'll tell Professor McGonagall," you say. You bid Draco and Pansy farewell and walked out. "I want to tell you something, but it may be a bit of a shock to you," she says. "You can tell me anything Charlotte," you say to her. "Ok, I trust you." "Well, what is it?" you ask. "I have a crush on Draco," she says.
  16. "Wait, you like Draco?" you ask her. "Well, yeah. He's funny, like you said, extremely cute and extremely sweet. He's brave too. He isn't afraid of his enemies," she says. "You don't hate me do you?" she asks. "No, I'm fine with you liking Draco. Matilda might be mad though," you say. "Why is that?" she asks as you enter Transfiguration classroom, which was your next class. "Because he insulted her and she doesn't really like him," you whisper. "Why? He apologized didn't he?" she asked. "Well, she thinks he's still a jerk after Care of Magical Creatures," you explain. "Well then, we won't tell her," Charlotte. "Why? She's our best friend too," you say. "Well, if you want her to know, you tell her," Charlotte tells you. "Alright, I'll do it now," you say taking your seat. "Try to make sure she doesn't hate me either," Charlotte says. She sits down next to her friend. You're thinking about what you're going to say to Matilda when she comes and sits next to you.
  17. "Hi _____," she says. "Oh hi Matilda," you say nervously. "I hope this class isn't as boring as Divination," she says with a laugh. "Yeah," you say with a nervous laugh. "What's wrong?" she asks. "Nothing's wrong. Why do you ask?" you say. "You're not acting like yourself," she says. "Yes I am," you say nervously. "No, seriously, what's wrong?" she asks. "Ok, I'll tell you but you can't tell anyone else," you say. "I promise. Now what is it?" she asks. "Well," you start, "Charlotte has a crush on Draco." Her eyes widen and her jaw drops.
  18. "You're kidding!" she says. "No, she told me herself," you say to Matilda while looking over at Charlotte. "Why? He's an evil cockroach," Matilda says. "No, he's really nice and he's funny," you say to her. "Ok, who are you and what have you done with _____?" she asks. You face Matilda. "What?" you ask. "Malfoy? Sweet? Funny?" she asks. "Well, he is. Why do you think I talked to him earlier?" you ask. "I thought you were telling him about how he was a bad person!" she whispers. "He isn't that bad! Besides, he apologized!" you whisper back. "You saw what he did in our last class! He insulted a hippogriff! You're not supposed to do that!" she says. "Well, he-" She cut you off. "Face it, you're only defending him because of Charlotte!" she says. "I am not! I'm defending him because you're just stereotyping Slytherins!" you whisper. "No I'm not! All Slytherins are evil and become Death Eaters!" she whispers. "Why don't you tell Charlotte that?" you ask calmly while turning around. Matilda turned around only to see Charlotte standing behind her, and she heard everything. "Oh Charlotte I-" Charlotte cut her off. "So I'm a Death Eater now?" Charlotte asks on the verge of tears. "I didn't mean that. I meant everyone else," Matilda says trying to reason with her. "Well, everyone else in Slytherin is my friend!" she screams. "You may be in Gryffindor, but you are a bigger jerk then everyone in Slytherin combined Matilda Hunter!" she screams. She storms out of the classroom, leaving everyone else staring at you and Matilda.
  19. Is it bad for me to end it there? Well, I am anyway. I just wanted to point out that I have nothing against Slytherins. In fact I may possibly be a Slytherin...... Not the point though. I just want to tell you guys that I'm having a character contest even though I just started this series. I'll have a separate quiz for it and it'll have all of the details. I just wanted to let you guys know. Anyway, I apologize if it's short, I had a hard time writing this. Please comment and tell me what you think of this! Thank you for reading this and supporting me!!!
