When Worlds Collide (part 4)

Quiz Image

Hi guys, welcome to part 4 of When Worlds Collide. I really have no exuse why this took me so long. I breifly thought about giving up, but I decided not to. I guess I don't care if anybody reads this, it's for my entertainment. :)

Recap: The party was kinda crazy with a ton of people, alcohol, and 7 minutes in heaven. Some of her friends already played. Now it's Allissa's turn to pick a number...

  1. I put my hand in the fedora and dug around, I didn't stop until I touched a piece of paper that just felt lucky. I grabbed the paper and pulled it out. "5?" I said nervously. "That would be me." a smooth male voice said.
  2. I looked up to see a guy a bit taller than me...a hot guy. He had black hair, some muscle, and blue-green eyes. He was wearing black tight-ish jeans, not exactly skinny jeans, but getting there, black converse, and a white v-neck that showed the outline of his abs. I could've stared at him longer, but Taylor shooed us away into the closet. Before I knew it, the door had shut. I could feel my heart speed up and my palms get a bit sweaty. There was just something about being in a dim, confined space with a hot guy whom I've never met before that was totally nerve racking.
  3. I didn't have time to dwell on my nervousness for long. "Hey, I don't think I've seen you around here before. Do you live in this neighborhood?" the guy asked. I leaned against the wall with my hands in my pockets. "Nah." I replied quietly, not giving eye contact. Not that it mattered, though. I could barely see the guy. All I saw was the outline of him and his features. I'm sure the case was the same for how he saw me. "Wow, you're talkative." the guy said in a sarcastic tone. I could see that he was smirking a bit. "Could you tell me your name at least?" he asked. "I'm Allissa," I said, followed by a small nervous laugh. "Nice to meet you, I'm Cory." the guy replied. "So, Allissa. Tell me about yourself." Cory said casually. No one has asked me that in a long time... oh great. "Hm, well uh... I like writing and drawing." I managed to say. "That's cool. I'm into photography and cute girls." Cory replied, adding a wink. I love it when guys wink, it's cute. But this? This made me wayyy nervous! Unable to think of a response, I replied "That's erm... nice?" I bit my lip. Good going, Allissa. This is going to be so awkward.
  4. Okay, is it just me or did Cory step closer? "Alright. Enough chit-chat, let's play the game." he said with flirtiness around the edges of his voice. Oh s---, what is he suggesting? I just nodded in response, my voice would probably squeak if I tried to talk. We were only a few inches apart. My heart was beating so loudly, I wondered if Cory could hear it. He paused. "Allissa?" "Yeah?" "Just wondering, is this your first time playing 7 minutes in heaven?" Cory asked. "Yes." I admited reluctantly. "I'm kinda nervous." Cory smiled this uber adorable smile. "Don't be." He said, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "Just follow my lead." Now our faces were just an inch apart. His blue-green eyes locked with my dark green ones for a brief second before his soft lips slowly touched mine. I involentarily closed my eyes and kissed him back. Cory's hands rested on my sides while mine were on his shoulders. Cory kept kissing me and my heart never failed to stop beating like a spastic wild animal trying to get out of a cramped cage. Man, Cory was good at this. But something just didn't feel right...
  5. First of all, Cory's hands were very, very, warm... like warmer than a normal human. Second of all, I started getting weird vibes off of Cory, just like I did with Stella. Again, they weren't bad vibes, there was just something about them that were... different. And finally, for some reason, an image of Anthony popped up in my mind, and it wouldn't go away no matter what. Before I knew it, the 7 minutes were up. Cory pulled away right before the door opened. We walked out, I could feel a few eyes on me, but I didn't really care. "That was fun." Cory said with a wink. I just smiled. Then he took a black sharpie out of his pocket and grabbed my arm. He began writing something. "Feel free to call me." he said in a flirty tone and walked away like a boss. I just stood there and stared at the digits on my arm. "Woah, is that his number?!" Jinx blurted out, making me jump. "Gah, don't do that, Jinx! You scared the crap out of me!" "Alright, just tell me what happened." Jinx said, not even bothing to appologize for the mini-heart attack she just gave me.
  6. I spilled the beans to Jinx. I even told her about the weird vibes I was getting off of Cory and Stella. "Hm, that is kinda strange. I'm sure we can find an explanation later." Jinx said. "Anywho, are you gonna call him?" I shrugged. "Maybe." I said. I had mixed feelings about Cory. He was hot, no doubt about it. He was also good at flirting... and kissing. Knowing me, I'd probably get a crush on him even though I hardly knew him... but this time was different. There was something preventing that and I didn't know what it was. "I don't know about you, but I'm gonna go see what the rest of the group is doing." Jinx said. "Okay," I replied. Jinx walked away and I started wandering around. Walking and looking down is a bad idea when you're at a crowded party. I bumped into someone.
  7. "Oops, sorry!" I said. I looked up to see Anthony smiling. "It's fine, Allissa. I know by now that you're a total klutz!" He teased. I made this hilarious sad face. "Shaddup! You're hurting my feelings!" I said in a silly voice. I couldn't keep a straight face after that, neither could Anthony. "You're so special, Allissa." He said sticking out his tougne. "I know I am!" I replied grinning. There was a moment of silence. "Bryan kept complaining about that hooker that forcibly made out with him. I was sick of hearing him yakking about it, so here I am." Anthony said, unloading his thoughts onto me. "Cool story bro." I joked. "But yeah, poor Bryan. I doubt he'll play 7 minutes in heaven again... and for the record, I don't think that was a hooker. She just looked like one." "Yeah. So how was it for you?" Anthony asked. "It was okay." I lied. I really didn't feel like talking about Cory with Anthony, it made me feel guilty. "It must not have been too bad considering that phone number on your arm." Anthony pointed out. "Oh," I blushed. "Well I might not even call him." I said. "I wouldn't if I were you. There he is." Anthony said, pointing behind me. Sure enough, there was Cory talking to a group of girls. Most of them were totally drooling over him. (Not literally, eewww! xD) Cory spotted me and waved. I waved back to be friendly. A couple of the girls sent evil looks my way. I turned back to Anthony. "He looks like a player." he stated. "And kind of a douche, quite frankly."
  8. I laughed a bit. "I don't think he's a douche." I said. "It's not his fault he's so attractive." "So the truth comes out." Anthony replied. "C'mon Ant, you gotta admit he's pretty cute." I said. "Hm, I suppose." Anthony replied, stroking his nonexistant beard. "He's just not my type." he joked. "But seriously, Allissa. Don't go falling for him. I don't want you getting hurt like you did with Austin." I felt a bit of sadness remembering the werewolf I dated for about a month in 10th grade. Long story short, I fell totally head over heals for him. He cheated on me with two other girls, dumped me over a text, and moved, leaving me to grab a broom and dustpan to clean up the shattered remains of my heart. Everyone (but mostly Anthony and Alexa) had to put up with my emotional wreakage for about a week. "Oh." I said flatly. I quickly shook off the memory and went back to normal. "No need to get all protective. You're not the boss of me anyway." I said. "I know I'm not." Anthony replied. "I just care about you. You're my best friend. It hurts me to see you hurt." I felt all fuzzy inside when Anthony said that. I smiled. "That's so sweet, Ant... are you drunk or something?" I asked, deciding to keep the mood light. Anthony laughed. "I assure you, I'm not drunk. I really mean it, Allissa." he said. "Thanks." I replied, hugging him. "You're the best." I thought. To be completely honest, I'm also kinda protective of Anthony. If what happened to Bryan happened to him, I swear I would've beat the living crap out of that girl... I just didn't let Anthony know that.
  9. I ended up spending most of the night with Anthony, talking about random things, joking, and people watching. We noticed Skye and Ethan talking to Stella and Chris and Bryan talking to Justin. We couldn't find Alexa or Jinx. We were too lazy to try to find them, or to go talk with anyone. Eventually we just went outside. The night air was a refreshing change from the stuffy heat in Taylor's house. Even though it wasn't exacly quiet, we weren't alone, and there was huge wads of toilet paper in the trees, Anthony and I managed to lay down in the grass and admire the beauty of the millions of stars in the sky above. It was imperfect, yet so perfect.
  10. ***TIME FORWARD*** a few hours later...
  11. ***Justin's P.O.V.*** I've been talking to this Bryan dude for hours. His friend Chris left us about half an hour ago. Bryan is pretty funny... and kinda crazy. That might be how he normally acts, but then again, he could be acting like this because he's drunk. He polished off like 3 or 4 beers... plus I saw him taking shots earlier. While it is his fault, I can't help but feel sorry for the guy. I wanted to leave, but I decided to be polite and stay. Bryan was talking about all this random nonsense for a few minutes. I zoned out until I felt him tap my shoulder. "Jus," he mumbled. "Yeah?" I said. Bryan burst into a fit of giggles, like I just told the funniest joke ever. He calmed down eventually. "I wanna tell you secret." he said with a crooked smile. "Uh, okay." I replied. "Come here." he said. I scooted about half a milimeter closer to him, not like he would notice or anything. Bryan put his hand on my knee. "I..." he began, but then he looked down and started laughing. I waited for him to calm down so he could finish. Bryan looked back up at me with his bloodshot brown eyes. "I...I'ma... Im'a angel." He said, his words a bit slurred. "Dark angel. I like to flyyyyy." He started giggling again. Oh man, this boy really doesn't know what he's saying. "That's nice, Bryan." I said, playing alone. "No really, I'll prove it!" Bryan blurted. Without another word, Bryan dragged me into a random bathroom and shut the door. "Bryan, you're not..." Before I could finish my sentence, a blue glow formed around Bryan. The glow faded, and stading before me was Bryan... with big black wings and gold eyes. My eyes widened. "He WAS serious!" I thought.
  12. CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry it took me so long, hope ya'll enjoyed. :)
