The Moderate position is difficult to describe, since it is a melting pot of various perspectives. One might be a conservative/traditional in theology and morals, but doesn't wish to rock the boat with liturgy. Others might be conservative in their beliefs, but believe that pastorally, these are ideals that are hard to live up to and take a gradualist or lenient approach. Others might be trying to take the via media and wish to maintain the status quo. As a result, they have a suspicion of Traditionalists who view them as no different from the Radical Traditionalists. The greatest threat to the Church is division between the factions. You might be a fan of Pope Francis, who is conservative in his views, but gradualist or lenient in the pastoral application of them.
