Hey, everyone! I know none of you are probably going to read this paragraph (I know I wouldn't), but I can't publish this quiz unless I put something here.

What would you do if your best friend was murdered?
- The deceased will only rest in peace if the murderer is executed; this is the simplest truth in this world. Other answers are just excuses to pass the buck.
- A murder case is usually complicated... I won't jump to any conclusions before the investigation is done.
- I'd have to get justice for my friend in court. This is the best I can come up with for now.
If you found a legal loophole, how would you handle it?
- I'll inform the City Assembly. They'll fix it.
- I'll make a fortune from it. Legal loopholes are gifts for the ones smart enough to use them.
- I'll ignore it if I'm not involved. This is no news to me.
What happens when you have a difference of opinion with Ms. Ellenstein?
- I've always followed my mother's instructions in the past, and I've learned a great deal from her! I respect what she has to say.
- I'm already a grown woman, so I don't need anyone to tell me what to do.
- We take the matter on its merits. It's one of the reasons why I respect my mother so dearly!
The marriage of most young aristocrats is still decided on by their families. If you hated your partner in an arranged marriage, what would you do?
- I'm sure my mother chose my husband for the sake of our family. I don't want to disappoint her, so I'll put up with it.
- I won't marry a disgusting man for comfort and wealth. I'll run away if I have to; milking a cow is better than getting married to a disgusting old man.
- A woman has too many ways to avenge her bad husband. I'll keep our marriage looking good for my family's sake, but in private...
It’s been noted that the Orens are rather careless and lack any real moral understanding. What should be done with them?
- Because the Orens don't understand laws or regulations, it's likely that humans will get physical with them... violence is an all-purpose language that works beyond races and civilizations.
- The Orens brought up in noble families don't steal, do they? This means the Orens can be educated. If humans want to integrate Orens into their society, the Orens must be offered an opportunity for education.
- The Orens have no knowledge of human laws or regulations. However, we can still regulate them with our rules. They will learn from their prison time and other criminal penalties.
The legal system of a nation grows more complex as time goes on. What do you think the purpose of the law is?
- Laws are just tools used to manage cities and rule states. It's hard to judge a law without applying it.
- Most of the time, the law restrains our nature. It's the price we have to pay to accommodate so many different people in one city.
- The law defines social rules and behavior boundaries... the more complicated the law is, the more stable public order will be.
Have you heard about the wicked countess who bathes in maiden’s blood to keep her skin young and beautiful?
- That's insane. Where's the magic basis for it? If you think deeper, you will realize how stupid the countess is... what skincare product can't she afford? She could even hire a mage to cast spells on her skin...
- This is too brutal! I can't bear to hear such a story, what if someone believed it and began to hurt other girls?
- Ah! Young maidens' blood... will it work? Tell me how to do it! Don't worry, I'm just kidding...
Do you believe in karma?
- Things change. We do our share, but that doesn't mean we can foresee any rewards for it.
- Of course. If I didn't think the needy are also kind, why would I help them?
- Karma is a lie to fool the simpleminded. You don't actually believe in it, do you?
A doctor is being executed for euthanizing a patient at their request. What’s your take on it?
- That poor doctor was doing something good for society; wasting money on incurable patients is a burden for everyone else, don't you think? We should work on laws to reduce taxes for the families of patients who are willing to end their lives. That'll reduce their inheritance tax, at least.
- The doctor didn't think his actions through enough. It was inevitable for him to face justice. Those patients were not perfectly conscious due to the suffering from their illness, so how could the doctor prove they sincerely asked to be killed? Isn't there any other doctor who could prove those patients were incurable? Will anyone benefit from these patients' deaths? It can't be legalized until we've investigated all possibilities.
- This is killing no matter what. Although sometimes our will may yield to pain, we should do our best to help others instead of offering our approval. Otherwise, the state and family will lose their reasoning.
What would you do with a lot of gold to burn?
- I'll use them to help the poor. Many people in the slums are homeless, hungry, and cold. If I use my money to renovate the slums, I could help many people.
- If someone pours that much money into the market, gold will become devalued and Finsel's economy will collapse. It'd be wiser to use the money to found my own bank and monopolize Finsel's financial market.
- If I had gold to burn, I'd hire a great number of assassins and mercenaries to punish those who once bullied my mother and I.
What’s your opinion on charity?
- I think it's similar to horse racing, fencing, embroidery, and attending balls. It's just something to kill some time. However, those into charity are on the high moral ground, so they're more likely to catch a cold. (I'm thinking this is a saying that doesn't translate super well, but here's my take on it; it's cold at higher elevations, so being on the "high ground" can backfire because you're put at risk.)
- This is a great thing for both the giver and the receiver if we can help the needy with our spare money.
- That's how we maintain the balance between the rich and the poor. It makes society more acceptable and the city safer.
What would you do if the city was overtaken by enemy forces?
- In a situation like that, the most important thing is protecting my family and myself. I'll leave Finsel with my mother and wait for things to get better.
- It doesn't really matter who the ruler of the city is; there is always someone ruling and someone being ruled... All we need to do is serve the new leader. It might be an opportunity for my family's promotion.
- The invading soldiers will treat Finsel's residents harshly... I hope I'm able to protect more people from this misfortune. Maybe I'll take a group of people to flee, Mr. Alan and his men would help us!
