If you look up at the dark, night sky, you’ll see beautiful, bright dots scattered across its gleaming surface. These are the galaxy’s beloved stars.

Even though these lovely balls of light are randomly spread throughout the sky, astronomers have made out several patterns. Some resemble objects and others resemble people or animals.
