The Boys: Scott – The extremely hot, popular, jock(Mainly football and basketball), who has a tan, six-pack, sandy (dirt blonde) hair, and baby blue eyes. Ashton – The sensitive, nice, funny, boy with freckles, who has dark side-swept brunette hair, and crisp green eyes. Chase – The handsome, compassionate, sporty boy (Different from Scott, plays soccer and lacrosse), who has blonde hair, and chocolate brown eyes. James – The mysterious, talented, emo who has ebony black side-weeping hair with bangs covering one eye, and ocean blue eyes. Anthony – The charming skater/surfer boy, who has somewhat long messy light brown hair and hazel eyes.

  1. “So,” Anthony says, “I haven’t seen you around here before, are you new?” You nod, “I had to move here over the summer. Yesterday was my first day.” Justin laughs, “So the new girl is already skipping classes.” You laugh sheepishly and say, “Yeah I am, but mostly because I can’t find any of my classes.” Anthony smiles sincerely, “We would help you, but we don’t even go to this school.”
  2. “Where do you go to school then?” you ask. Evan jerks his head to the north, “We go to Westfield Academy; it’s a few miles away from here.” You look in the direction he pointed, “Oh, I didn’t know there was another school around here. I guess that’s because I haven’t seen much of the town yet.” Anthony looks at you thoughtfully, “Do you skateboard?”
  3. “I’ve been on a skateboard a few times, I’m not that good. I’m better at surfing,” you reply. Bryan says eagerly, “That’s great! We love surfing!” Anthony runs his hand through his hair and says, “Why don’t you come surf with us tomorrow and when we’re done we can show you around town.”
  4. “Yeah, that’d be fun,” you say. Anthony gives you a breathtaking smile and replies, “Cool, we can meet at the beach after school tomorrow.” A sudden sound from behind you makes everyone jump.
  5. James emerges from the shadows, “Hey _____-----”. When James notices who you are with he becomes pale and expressionless. He comes up to you and meanwhile glares at Anthony. Anthony smirks, “Well, hello James.” James ignores him and grabs your hand, “Come on let’s go.”
  6. You say goodbye to Anthony and follow James back towards the school. He doesn’t let go of your hand until you are out of view of the parking lot. “What was that all about?” you mutter. James doesn’t comment and continues to walk. You sigh, “Well, if you’re not going to answer at least tell me where we are going.” A smile appears onto James’ face, “I’m bringing you to the garden.”
  7. You follow James through a series of winding paths and soon stop at a gate. The gate is made of some sort of black metal and has many intricate designs on it. You redirect your attention back to James as you watch him pull a key out of his pocket. You notice the key matches the gate; it is very old looking and made of the same black metal. James opens the gate and ushers you in. You…
  8. You decide to follow James into the garden. After walking through some dark low-hanging trees you appear out into the open. You gasp at the beautiful view of the majestic blue ocean shimmering like a diamond. James grabs your hand again and murmurs, “Over here.” You were too distracted that you didn’t even notice how magnificent the garden is! Flowers of every shape, size, and color blossom from multiple directions. You are caught up looking at the flowers that you forget about James. You notice he is missing and you …
  9. “______, look at this!” James calls from somewhere inside the garden. You walk in the direction that his voice came and stop when you see James sitting on a beautiful white vintage bench. “Come sit next to me,” he says with a smile. You sit down next to him and look into his eyes. A smile creeps upon your lips as you realize James’ eyes are the same color as the ocean. “What are you thinking about?” James asks as he tilts his head to one side.
  10. “Umm, well…I was thinking about you,” you say with embarrassment. James’ smile grows bigger, but he doesn’t say anything. James points out towards the ocean, “See that miniature island out there with the house on it?” You quizzically look towards the ocean and notice an island not to far from the land. “Yea, what about it?” you ask. “That’s where I live.”
  11. “Really?! How do you get to school every day?” you inquire. James shrugs, “Well after my mom died, my dad couldn’t bare to go back to that house. So he decided to buy a house inland so he wouldn’t have to be reminded of her. He gave the house to me now, so I go there on the weekends mostly.” You look at him sadly, “Oh, I’m sorry.” James shakes his head, “Don’t be, look forget about it. I want to give you something.” He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a heart shaped locket and strings a key onto it. “This was my mother’s locket; I want to give it to you. Oh, and the key is the key to my heart.”
  12. James brushes your hair out of the way and puts the necklace on you, “That key opens a lot of things. I want you to keep it with you at all times.” You nod, “I will.” James becomes solemn, “Good.” He cups your chin in his hands and looks into your eyes, “There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you.” You catch your breath as he leans dangerously close to you. “I love you,” he whispers as he kisses you softly on the lips.
  13. The school bell rings off in the distance. Your perfect moment is shattered. It seemed as if nothing else in the world had existed, but James and you. James sighs, “Too bad we can’t skip another class…I guess I’ll show you the way out.” You follow James to the exit and you exchange good-byes. As you walk back down the hallways of the school you wonder if what you had just experienced was real. You thoughts are interrupted by Ashton calling across the corridor. “Hey ________, look at this!” You trot over towards him to see what has gotten him so hyped up. “Look, the Welcome Back Dance is this Friday and…”
