Teenage Love Affair (Part 2)

Recently because of family matters you’ve had to move and change high schools. You’re now the new kid at Westfield High. You don’t know anyone, you don’t know anything about the school, and your still trying to get over your (ex) boyfriend that you left at your old high school. How will you survive at this new high school? Will you ever get over your old boyfriend? Will you make any new best friends? Only you can decide! Last time on Teenage Love Affair: You were asked by all the boys to go to lunch and it looks like lunch is just around the corner!

The Boys: Scott – The extremely hot, popular, jock(Mainly football and basketball), who has a tan, six-pack, sandy (dirt blonde) hair, and ocean blue eyes. Ashton – The sensitive, nice, funny, boy with freckles, who has dark side-swept brunette hair, and crisp green eyes. Chase – The handsome, compassionate, sporty boy (Different from Scott, plays soccer and lacrosse), who has blonde hair, and chocolate brown eyes. James – The mysterious, talented, emo who has ebony black side-sweeping hair with bangs covering one eye, and baby blue eyes.

  1. James looks at you and smiles. He opens his mouth to say something, but the bell rings and covers up his words. You are suddenly overcome with panic, “Oh no! I have to choose who I want to eat lunch with!” You think to yourself. James looks oddly disappoint then shrugs and says, “Wanna go to lunch?” You feel like screaming, “WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?!” Bewildered and unsure you follow James to the main lunch spot. As you approach you notice…
  2. You notice Ashton approaching you with a warm smile on his face. He doesn’t seem to notice James until you both come to a stop next to him. His smile suddenly disappears. Out of the corner of your eye you see Scott leaving his friends and coming towards you. To make matters even worse you see Chase waving and walking towards you. You think…
  3. When all the boys finally stop next to you they become gravely silent. You try not to think about what’s going through their minds. Scott finally speaks up, “Well _______, what’s this? Aren’t we going to eat lunch together?” James avoids eye contact with you and walks away into a crowd of students. Chase looks at you with an unreadable expression and says, “Sorry ______, but I’m out of here.” Scott gets impatient that you haven’t replied and says, “Whatever…” and walks away. Ashton remains silent and says at your side. You think …

The buzz of students’ talking floats around you and you feel like crying. “I don’t understand…,” you mumble to yourself. Ashton tries to smile, but fails. He sighs and says, “______, it’s not your fault. If you want to know why they all left I can tell you. We should go to a quieter area though.” You reply…

  6. “Well ________, before you came, Scott, Chase, James, and I use to be best friends. I know it sounds kind of weird because we’re all so different, but we were. During the summer was the last time we talked. We’ve been trying to avoid each other today to make things less awkward. We never expected what would happen at lunch today though. You forced us all together and it brought back the…” Ashton trails off and seems reluctant to say more.
  7. “Well…you see…I don’t really know how to explain this.” Ashton replies. He opens his mouth to say something else, but the bell rings. Frustrated, you say good-bye and walk off to your next class. You walk into your next class and sit down. You barely pay attention to the teacher or the students around you. You try to remember what Ashton said, “Was it something that happened over the summer?” you wonder. As you think about summertime you recall what happened during your summer. *’*’*You walked along the beach holding your boyfriend’s hand, “Nick, there’s something I have to tell you,” you say sadly, “I’m breaking up with you.” He looks at you bewilderedly, “Why?” You try not to cry, “Because I’m moving…”*’*’* your memory gets destroyed by the shrill squeal of your teacher, “_______? _______! If you aren’t going to pay attention I’ll just kick you out of this class!” Just before your teacher can yell at you anymore, the bell rings.
  8. You rush out of the class and search for the boys. They’re no where to be found. You finally give up. With a big sigh you saunter home with your heavy backpack. Instead of taking the bus, you decide to walk home today because the sun is still shining. You walk along and begin to whistle. A few blocks away from the school you hear rustling and whispers. You stop whistling and try to listen. “Why did you tell her about what happened over the summer?!” …was that Scott? “Well, I didn’t actually tell her anything. The bell rang before I could.” That must be Ashton. “You idiot, now she might get hurt!” hmm that sounded like James. “I won’t let you hurt her!” oh, that was definitely Chase! You are so absorbed in the conversation that you accidently trip over a root and make a big racket. “What was that?!” they all shout.
