Hogwarts Love Story

Quiz Image

Hi! This is my first Hogwarts love story, so I'm kinda new at this, but I hope you enjoy anyway! This story is for girls (or anyone who likes boys) but if you aren't, then it's fine but might get a little awkward.

This is the first quiz in the set, but I thought that I might need to give a little background info, since I think years 1 and 2 are a little too early to date. So this quiz won't have a result (sorry).

  1. PLEASE READ THE INTRO! IT IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!! (the quiz picture is of you but older)
  2. You woke up to Peanut, your pet baby snake slithering around your arm. "I'm hungryyyyy", she wailed. You had this weird thing to be able to talk to snakes since you were born. But then, you were pretty much the definition of "abnormal", according to your aunt and uncle. You had no memory of your parents, and had basically been growing up with your relatives for your whole life. They hated you, and you'd been living in a particularly large cabinet until it was too small for you. You now lived in the attic, which was barely enough to fit a bed in. Or whatever you called your bed. It was more like a stack of blankets that were stained, too small, or ripped. Remembering Peanut, you gently asked Hoot, your owl, to drop Peanut off in the garden to feed. You had several pets: Peanut, Hoot and Callie, your calico cat. You had rescued all of them, usually from your relatives. You found Peanut while playing secretly in the backyard, alone and helpless because of his size; Hoot because he crashed into a window in a snowstorm and your uncle was about to throw him out; Callie because your cousins were throwing rocks at her.
  3. You were absentmindedly stroking Callie, when your aunt called you down for breakfast. You were usually supposed to eat by yourself, after everyone else. This usually meant you ate the leftovers. It was as disgusting as usual, but you learned how to pick out the bits that no one had touched. You finished, stomach still grumbling and trudged upstairs. "No wonder I'm so skinny", you grumpily muttered. You sat in bed as you had a memory of your parents, the only one. It was when you were really young, an infant. You watched as your mother was galloping around on a silver dappled mare. You were in awe, and then, your mother's arms lifted you out of your father's grasp, and suddenly, you were riding with your mother... You wondered how it felt to be a horse... To be riding so freely... You could almost feel 4 strong legs beneath you, itching to take off... "Ouch!", you exclaimed, as you were jerked out of your thoughts. You looked up, and sure enough, the ceiling was right there, squishing your nose. But it wasn't just that... you realized you now could see at almost 360°, and you felt stronger, like you could run a hundred miles. It was only when you looked down, when you realized.
  4. *timeskip to when you are having a /talk/ in the kitchen* "I don't know how I did it, honest!", you tried to explain for the millionth time. "I don't know how I turned into a silver horse!!!" Your uncle ignored you and carried on with his lecture,"You're lucky your cousins were out!" "Never do that again!", your aunt half-screamed. That was when the owl came. A large tawny owl swooped into the kitchen through the open kitchen door, and dropped a letter from its beak. You just had read your name on the envelope, when your uncle snatched it away. He tore it open and gleefully read the letter. "Yes!", he exclaimed, "It's come at last!" You couldn't get what your uncle was so excited about. It was /your/ letter after all. He thrust it at you. "That ruddy school has accepted at last! I'll expect you to move out of this house /very/ soon." You read the letter.
  5. (pretend you read the letter and everything I'm too lazy to put it here) Just then, with a loud crack, somebody knocked on the door. It was a thin lipped woman, with graying hair in a tight bun. She looked like someone not to cross. When your aunt opened the door, she simply walked in without being invited. "I see you have gotten the letter," she nodded at the letter in your hands, "Seeing as you are our ah... "special exception", I assume that your aunt and uncle knew that you were going to move out immediately. Hurry up and pack your bags, then come with me. You quickly hurried upstairs. Who was this person? It was all very sudden. You were now forced to leave with some random person you didn't know to go to this "Hogwarts". It was all very confusing. You quickly stuffed all your belongings into a small trunk and then picked up Callie. Hoot, who had been resting on the windowsill hopped on your shoulder. You quickly ran out into the backyard to get Peanut. "PEANUT!!!", you yelled. soon enough, he slithered too your leg and into your pocket. When you came back, the woman was still there, and she asked you to hold her hand. You thought it was an odd request, but you obliged.
  6. The lady, who said her name was Professor McGonagall, then took you to a place called the Leaky Cauldron. “You will be staying here until it is time to go to Hogwarts. You should buy your supplies while you’re here.”, she said, as someone took your bag to your room and gave you a key. She then took you outside to a wall. You were just about to ask what you were doing here, when she took out a long wooden stick. You thought it was a wand, but couldn’t be sure. She tapped a brick muttering,”Three up and two across.” It then morphed into a doorway! You both walked into it, and there was a whole alley full of strange shops. “This is where you’ll get all of your school supplies.”, Professor McGonagall said, “Someone will collect you when it’s time to get to Hogwarts.” She then disappeared with a crack. Taking the list out of your pocket, you saw “wand” at the top of the list. “What?!”, you thought. But sure enough, you saw a shop selling wands.
  7. You walked into the shop, where you were greeted by a pale man called Mr. Ollivander. You were flustered, not knowing what to do. Noticing this and the Hogwarts letter in your hand, he said, "Hogwarts, yes? And a Muggle-born, I presume." He then started to hand you a wand, but as quickly as you grabbed it, he snatched it away. He gave you another wand, and told you to wave it around. He then took it away and replaced it with another wand, and you kept trying wands until there was one that was pleasantly warm and light in your hands. "Ah... Willow, unicorn hair core, 11 3/4 inches long, slightly springy. Very useful for healing and defensive magic." You paid for the wand and continues to shop for things, always finding the right store. When you finished, you went back to the Leaky Cauldron and back to your room.
  8. When you woke up, you decided to do a little digging. You still didn't understand the strange community of people and where in the world Hogwarts was. After going to the bookstore, you found a book called "Hogwarts: A History". You found out that it was a special school for wizards, or Muggles (that's what they called non-magic people) that had magical potential. It was pretty interesting, and you didn't get nearly enough time to read it, so you decided to buy it. Not like you had much to do over the next few days, except study and take care of Peanut, Hoot and Callie. Speaking of Hoot, apparently wizards used owls to send letters to each other. The next day you would go to the pet shop and ask if Hoot was a letter-delivering owl too, although you couldn't quite understand how a tiny owl like him could carry mail, let alone for thousands of miles (he was pretty energetic and hyper though).
  9. When it was time to get to Hogwarts, another person from Hogwarts came and Apparated (that was what they called the teleportation thing Prof. McGonagall did) with you to King's Cross station. They told you how to get through the barrier, and left with a crack. You pushed your trolley (you didn't need one for your singular bag, but Hoot and Callie insisted on riding in it. You walked through the pillar calmly, and was just in time for the train. You quickly hopped on with Callie and Hoot on your shoulders, and Peanut in your pocket. (skip to when you arrive at Hogwarts) "Firs' years here!", called a very (and by very I mean extremely) tall man that towered over everyone. You learned from another kid that he was called Hagrid, and he was the gamekeeper. He led you to a bunch of boats, and in the boats, you rode to Hogwarts. Drenched from the boat ride, you got off later and followed Prof. McGonagall into an empty chamber. You had no idea what was going to happen next, and was very nervous.
  10. Turns out, all you had to do was wear a hat. When your name was called, you stepped up and wore the hat (I forgot to mention, it talked). "Hm... Loves animals? Very empathetic? Imaginative and curious? Sounds like a HUFFLE... wait... no... You're the Heir of Slytherin! Can't have you in Hufflepuff! Well, off you go to SLYTHERIN!", it said in your mind. You walked over to the Slytherin table. Almost all of them stared at you, instead of the loud applause that was given to the rest of the people. You could hear them muttering about how the hat was going to put you in Hufflepuff, but you ended up here. Instantly you felt your face growing hot. And what did the hat mean by "heir of Slytherin"? You had no idea. As soon as the sorting and the feast ended, you quickly fell asleep in your bed. (Your dorm mates weren't all that nice)
  11. You woke up the next morning, got ready, ate breakfast and was going to go to your first class, but then someone stopped you. It was Professor Snape, your head of house (also the potions master). "Headmaster Dumbledore would like to see you.", he said in his cold voice. He then escorted you to the Headmaster's office and left. "Ah.. Angelia, hello, please sit!", he gestured to the chair in front of his desk. "I understand that you are only 9 years of age. You might have noticed that the usual age to go to Hogwarts is 10, but the Ministry and I have decided to invite you for... ah... 'special reasons'. "Is this because I turned into a horse? Because I DON'T KNOW HOW I DID IT!", your voice rose at the end, you were frustrated in trying to explain this. "Yes, but no," the headmaster continued ever so calmly, "We decided to train you to learn magic earlier, so that it would not cause too much disruption among muggles. Imagine what would happen if you turned into a horse uncontrollably in the middle of a crowd? That would be a very difficult situation indeed. You are an Animagus, and I believe you have something to do with snakes? There were quite a lot of incidents associated with you…
  12. Hi! This is the end of this story, sorry it was so long, but I hope you enjoy it! There will definitely be love interests in the next quiz. Bye!
