Maeve chuckled, playing with her hair. ‘You’re above average in the amazing category.”

Lavender leaned into her touch. "I'm average in everything, princess." She chuckled.

‘Pfft, you’re below average in being ugly.’

Lavender rolled her eyes, chuckling. "Fair enough."

‘Wayyyy below average. Like so low it’s off the chart.’

Lavender rolled her eyes. "I get it, you think I'm pretty." She giggled, leaning into her. "You're much prettier, though."

‘I’m really not,’ Maeve grinned.

"Are too!" Lavender leaned into her, grinning.

'No!'

"Stop arguing with me!" Lavender giggled. She leaned in closer until they were so close their noses were nearly touching.

Maeve went bright red. 'I- U-Uhm- Okay.'

Lavender giggled, booped her nose with her own, and pulled away.

Maeve blushed and huffed in disappointment.

"What?" Lavender noticed the huff, chuckling.

‘Nothing.’ For some reason I really wanted you to kiss me but I don’t want to sound like a creep.
