Richard noticed the note, and sat up, reading it.

Have to finish some work. Meet me in my office after breakfast. Love, Caleb. It had a little heart drawn next to it.

Richard smiled, walking to his room to get changed into a suit.

Caleb was working in his office.

Richard changed and then went to see if he could still grab some breakfast.

The table was empty but there were people in the kitchen.

Richard walked into the kitchen. "Hello?"

‘Hello, your highness,’ the head chef said. He was old and tall.

Richard gave a respectful nod. "Hello, I was just wondering if there was any leftovers for breakfast."

‘Ah, yes, we were just about to throw those out. Gustav, get the leftovers.’ A little boy, around 8, grabbed a tray from a cabinet and held it up for Richard.

Richard took the tray. "Thanks."

‘Of course, your highness,’ the old, Anton Ego-looking guy said.

Richard gave a small nod, walking away, He sat down in the kitchen and ate his leftovers.

Meanwhile, Caleb sat in his office, working through his piles upon piles of work.

Richard finished eating about half of it and walked to Caleb's office.
