Lawrence chuckled, kissing the top of his head. ‘I’m not going to lie, I somewhat miss it. Not the stress and respect, just the castle. It was more, y’know, secure than a cottage in the woods. Not that I don’t want to be here. I do.’

“Hm, I get that,” Briar spoke with a nod, humming softly in agreement. “I’ll also miss my cozy bed, but the one here is quite cozy, too~” He giggled, taking a sip of his wine. “Although, any bed is cozy when I’m cuddling with you, baby~”

Lawrence blushed, chuckling. He set down his fork and kissed his cheek. ‘You’re nice to cuddle with too.’

Briar giggled, taking a long sip of his wine and feeling the alcohol already starting to kick in. “Mm, cuddles aren’t the only fun thing to do in bed~” He teased, laughing softly as he took another bite of his cake.

Lawrence laughed, taking another sip of his wine. He wasn't going to be the one staying sober again. 'God, you're such a lightweight,' he said, nudging his boyfriend.

“Mm, no I’m not~“ Briar said with a giggle, taking another long sip of his wine.

Lawrence took the glass from Briar and put it out of his reach. 'No more for you.'

“Nooo, gimme~“ Briar pouted, making grabby hands at the glass of wine. “You’re so mean to me, let me have the wine~“

Lawrence pecked the corner of his mouth. 'No, no more wine,' he giggled.

“Noooooo~“ Briar whined, dragging out his words as he tried to reach over and grab the wine. “I want my wine baaaaack~”

Lawrence laughed and pushed it further away from him. 'No!' he giggled, downing his own glass.

“f--- youuu~” Briar complained, his words slurring as he clung to his boyfriend and abandoned his slice of cake.

Lawrence rolled his eyes, laughing as he poured himself another glass.

“I wanna get s----faced, gimme-“ Briar reached forward and grabbed the glass of wine, quickly chugging it.

Lawrence laughed, but let him. 'God, you're insufferable,' he said.
