"Mm, that's true- that's what I'm starting on, trying to just work gigs at bars or clubs," Adrienne replied, shrugging a little.

"I think I know someone who might be able to help a little bit, but your band is going to have to do most of the legwork. I happen to know a restaurant owner." Octavia said

"Wait- seriously?" Adrienne asked, their eyes widening. "You'd seriously do that for me??"

"yeah. I think could really go places. Also, I'm always glad to help a friend." Octavia said, slightly blushing. She had a little bit of an ulterior motive. She wanted to watch Adrienne perform and she thought, it might be nice to pretend that they were singing just to her.

Adrienne grinned brightly, chuckling softly. "That- that'd be amazing, actually~" They said with a nod, watching Octavia with a grin.

"Great, I'll set up an appointment with Uncle Marvee." Octavia said as she added eyelashes to her eyeball drawing. She tried to sound indifferent, but she was excited.

"Awesome," Adrienne replied with a small smile, nodding. "Just let me know when and where~"

"sure thing. You'll most likely be performing at Marvee's marvelous barbeque but if you're persuasive enough to could perform at the bar and grill. My uncle usually tests people at the barbeque before sending them to the vista." Octavia said. She'd visit most of her uncle's restaurants but the star vista was the most accepted by her parents.

"No, yeah, that's- that's more than enough," Adrienne replied with a smile, nodding.

"I'm glad I could help." Octavia said smiling. She then noticed a teacher finally coming up to the door to unlock the school.

Adrienne looked over as well, standing up. "Finally, I was starting to wonder when they were gonna let us in," they spoke, chuckling softly.

"I feel like a block of ice. They'd better hope my allergies don't start acting up again." Octavia said

"For real," Adrienne said with a chuckle, nodding as they headed inside with Octavia.
